East Hanover Township

Theft of Property – On March 15, 2020 between 12:01 a.m. and 3:28 p.m., PSP Jonestown responded to Racehorse Dr. for theft of yard signs. A white truck with two occupants was seen stealing the signs during the overnight hours. The victim was a 66 year old Annville man. Anyone with information is asked to contact PSP Jonestown and refer to case number PA 2020-357588.

Heidelberg Township

Single-Vehicle Collision – On March 23, 2020 at 4:21 p.m., the single vehicle, reportable crash occurred on SR 501 N, approximately 350 south of Cherry Ln. Rd. Unit 1, a 2007 Toyota Echo, was traveling north on SR 501. The driver of unit 1, a 17 year old Schaefferstown woman, failed to negotiate a left curve in the road during rainy conditions and wet roadways. Unit 1 slid across the south bound lane and struck a telephone pole head-on on the opposite side of the roadway. Unit 1 came to an uncontrolled stop in the center of SR 501. There were no reported injuries, but unit 1 sustained extensive and disabling front end damage. The driver was using a lap and shoulder belt. Gillis Miller towing responded and towed unit 1 from the scene. Schaefferstown Fire Co and Fire Police assisted PSP at the scene.

Multi-Vehicle Collision – On March 22, 2020, at approximately 12:45 p.m., PSP Jonestown Troopers responded to a reported crash at the intersection of SR-897 and Hopeland Rd. This crash occurred as unit 1, a 2007 Pontiac G6, was traveling west on SR-897 when the driver, an 18 year old Pine Grove woman, conducted a left turn and struck unit 2, a 2020 Tesla Motors Model 3 driven by a 46 year old Shillington man, which was at the stop sign of Hopeland Rd. and SR-897.

Jackson Township

Domestic Dispute – On March 17, 2020 at 8:21 p.m., PSP Jonestown responded to Millardsville Rd. for a domestic dispute. Upon arrival it was determined the victim, a 51 year old Richland woman, was struck by the arrestee, a 49 year old Richland man. Charges were filed on the arrestee.

Theft/Crime By Deception – On March 6, 2020 at 5:26 p.m., PSP Jonestown responded to Gable Dr. for a fraud scam. The victim, a 50 year old Myerstown man, reported he was contacted by individuals claiming to be with the United States Marshals. The suspects claimed an arrest warrant was active for the victim and if he did not pay money the suspects would arrest him. The victim sent money.

Jonestown Borough

Driving Under Suspension – On March 11, 2020 at 4:28 p.m., on West Blackberry St. and North Water St. PSP Jonestown conducted a traffic stop on Barry Emerich, a 48 year old Jonestown man. The arrestee was taken into custody for active arrest warrants. Charges were completed for Driving Under Suspension.

Lebanon City

Simple Assault and Terroristic Threats – Frances Cosme-Santiago, a 29 year old Lebanon woman, has been charged with Simple Assault (domestic violence related) and Terroristic Threats after an incident on March 20, 2020 at 9:54 p.m. on the 400 block of New St. Cosme is accused of striking the 44 year old victim causing injury to his mouth and threatening him with a knife. The victim had what appeared to be stab wounds on his arms. Cosme was apprehended and transported to LCCB. She was arraigned before MDJ Carl Garver and incarcerated LCCF in lieu of $5,000 bail.

Burglary, Robbery, Simple Assault, and Reckless Endangerment – James Fulk, a 22 year old Lebanon man, Phenix Malave, a 24 year old Lebanon man, and Alejandro Morales, an 18 year old Lebanon man have been charged with Conspiracy to Commit Burglary, Burglary, Conspiracy to Commit Robbery, Robbery, Conspiracy to Commit Simple Assault, Attempted Simple Assault, Conspiracy to Commit Recklessly Endangering Another Person, and Recklessly Endangering Another Person after an incident on March 22, 2020 at 3:49 p.m. on the 400 block of North 10th St. The 24 year old victim and the three suspects are known to each other. Police allege Fulk, Malave, and Morales entered the victim’s apartment and assaulted him by punching him several times causing minor injury. The victim stated two of the three suspects were searching through his belongings for money. His cell phone with money in a phone case was removed from his hands as he attempted to call 911. After taking his phone and money, the three suspects fled the apartment, the victim then left his apartment and called 911 from another residence. Fulk and Malave have been apprehended and incarcerated at LCCF after arraignments by MDJ John Ditzler. Fulk was incarcerated on $25,000 bail and Malve on $50,000 bail. Morales has a warrant for his arrest.

Substance Possession – Charges of Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Park Rules and Regulations have been filed against a 19 year old Lebanon man and a 21 year old Lebanon man after contact with police on March 10, 2020 at 9:32 p.m. on the 500 block of East Canal St.

Possession of Marijuana – Charges of Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia have been filed against a 22 year old Camden, NJ man, and a 21 year old Lebanon man, after contact with police on March 1, 2020 at 1:47 a.m. on the 1100 block of Cumberland St.

Drug Possession – A charge of Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana has been filed against a 19 year old Lebanon man and a Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia charge has been filed against another 19 year old Lebanon man, after contact with police on February 22, 2020 at 4:42 a.m. on the 1200 block of Maple St.

Disorderly Conduct and Criminal Mischief – Charges of Disorderly Conduct and Criminal Mischief have been filed against a 31 year old Lebanon man after an incident on March 25, 2020 at 4:55 a.m. on the 200 block of East Cumberland St. He is accused of throwing items from a second-floor window causing damage to a vehicle parked on the street. Damage to the vehicle is estimated to be $150.

Harrassment – A 76 year old Lebanon woman has been cited for Harassment on March 25, 2020 at 9:29 a.m. on the 1500 block of Oak St.

Substance Possession and Public Drunkenness – Charges of Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Public Drunkenness have been filed against Jeffrey West, a 35 year old Lebanon man, after an incident on March 24, 2020 at 8:20 p.m. on the 600 block of North Lincoln Ave.

Lebanon County

Vehicle Collision – On March 23, 2020 at 11:24 p.m., an accident occurred on Colebrook Rd. (between Arnold Crt and Northwest Dr.). A 24 year old Lebanon man was traveling north on Colebrook Rd., left the roadway, lost control in the grass, and struck a utility pole. The impact caused the pole to split, and the wires to short and catch on fire. A 41 year old Palmyra woman was traveling south after the crash occurred with the Lebanon man, and struck the debris in the roadway. The Lebanon man’s vehicle was towed from the scene, minor damage to the undercarriage of the Palmyra woman’s vehicle. No injuries were reported. Fire was dispatched for the wires. 

Swatara Township

Internet Scam – Between March 4, 2020 at 4:01 p.m. and March 5, 2020 at 4:01 p.m., PSP Jonestown investigated an internet scam. The victim, a 20 year old Jonestown man, was attempting to buy shoes on an app. The victim was scammed out of money and never received the shoes.

Single-Vehicle Collision – On March 28, 2020 at 11:55 a.m., this crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2016 Volkswagen Golf GTI driven by a 30 year old Palmyra man, was traveling north on I 81 south of mile marker 92.6 in the right lane of travel. Unit 1 lost control of the vehicle and began to rotate counterclockwise. Unit 1 traveled into the left lane of travel on I 81 north and continued off the left side of the roadway. At this time, Unit 1 impacted a guide rail at the 12 o’clock position on the vehicle. After impact, Unit 1 came to final in the left lane of travel on I 81 north at mile marker 92.6, facing west. The driver was not transported for his injuries.

Union Township

Substance Possession – On March 13, 2020 at 7:15 a.m., PSP Jonestown responded to SR 72 and Everest Ln. for two individuals asleep in their vehicle for over an hour. Through the investigation the arrestee, Henry Wells, a 29 year old Bluefield, WV man, was found to be in possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia. Charges were completed.
