Bethel Township

Harassment – On July 27, 2020 at 3:37 p.m., this incident occurred when the juvenile Actor, a 16 year old Myerstown female, got into a verbal altercation with her sister, an 18 year old Myerstown woman, on Deep Run Rd. The argument escalated when the juvenile Actor got physical with her sister and their grandmother, a 73 year old Myerstown woman, tried to intervene. The juvenile Actor struck her grandmother and sister. The juvenile Actor subsequently calmed down after the incident.

Theft – On July 25, 2020 at 5:20 p.m., a theft occurred on East Main St. In the commission of this crime, unknown Actor(s) stole an air conditioner from the Victim. The Victim was a 41 year old Annville man. The total value of the white air conditioner was $200.

Cleona Borough

Retail Theft – On July 18, 2020 at 8:33 a.m., troopers responded to the Giant Food Store on West Penn Ave. for an attempted retail theft. Upon arrival on scene, it was determined that an unknown male and female attempted to scan “discounted codes” for merchandise. The Suspects were unsuccessful and left in a tan Chevrolet Impala that was missing one hubcap. Anyone that has any information regarding this incident is asked to contact PSP Jonestown station.

East Hanover Township

Vehicle Accident – On July 27, 2020 at 7:01 a.m., Unit 1, a 2002 BMW 325I, driven by Operator 1, Jacqueline Davis, a 33 year old Annville woman, was traveling north on Mill Rd. Operator 1 observed a deer in the roadway and swerved to miss striking the deer. Operator 1 crossed the southbound lane of Mill Rd. and struck a tree on the southbound shoulder of Mill Rd. Unit 1 came to final rest in the southbound lane of Mill Rd. Operator 1 sustained suspected minor injuries and was transported by Life Lion to Hershey Medical Center.

Vehicle Accident – On July 13, 2020 at 2:04 p.m., this crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2016 General MTRS Corp Sierra, driven by Operator 1, a 44 year old Lakeland, FL man, and Unit 2, a 2016 Mack Trucks Day Cab, driven by Operator 2, a 36 year old Schuylkill Haven man, were traveling northbound on I 81. Operator 1, for an unknown reason, did not observe Unit 2 stopped in the right-hand travel lane due to traffic conditions ahead, causing Unit 1 to rear-end Unit 2. After impact, Unit 1’s trailing unit became dislodged from Unit 1 where the initial impact occurred. Unit 1 continued around Unit 2 where it exited the roadway and came to its position of final rest. Operator 1 and Operator 2 were not injured as a result of this crash.

Heidelberg Township

Vehicle Accident – On July 23, 2020 at 10:38 a.m., this crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2020 Toyota Corolla, driven by Operator 1, a 58 year old Helen man, was traveling north on SR 501. Unit 1 was traveling behind two vehicles. Unit 1 attempted to travel around the two vehicles in the left lane to continue traveling north on SR 501. Unit 2, a 2019 Chevrolet Equinox, driven by Operator 2, a 69 year old Manheim man, turned left to travel west into the Dutchway Market. Unit 2 was struck on its driver’s side front door area by Unit 1’s frontal portion. Unit 2 continued traveling north while being pushed by Unit 1. Both Unit 1 and Unit 2 exited the left side of the roadway. Unit 2 subsequently struck the Dutchway Market brick sign off of the left side of the roadway. Unit 1 sustained major damage to its frontal portion. Unit 2 sustained major damage to its driver’s side front door area and its passenger’s side front and rear door area. Unit 1 was towed by Joe May’s Towing. Unit 2 was towed by Doug’s Transport. Operator 1, Operator 2, and Passenger 1, a 42 year old Elizabethtown woman, were not injured as a result of this crash. Passenger 2, a 65 year old Manheim woman, sustained suspected minor injuries as a result of this crash.

Jackson Township

Drug Possession – On July 21, 2020 at 11:16 a.m., at West Main Ave. and James Aly., a traffic stop conducted on a 2001 Suzuki by members of PSP Jonestown yielded the seizure of suspected heroine, suspected methamphetamine, and additional drug paraphernalia. Charges for this incident are pending forensic analysis results.

Lebanon City

Disorderly Conduct – A 23 year old male, a 31 year old female, a 21 year old male, a 25 year old female, a 49 year old female, and a 34 year old male, all Lebanon residents, have been cited for Disorderly Conduct after all participated in a mutual fight on July 14, 2020 at 8:53 p.m. on the 00 block of North 12th St.

Curfew Violation – A 15 year old male and a 17 year old male have been cited for Curfew on July 25, 2020 at 2:45 a.m. on the 700 block of North 6th St.

Disorderly Conduct – A 33 year old Lebanon man has been cited for Disorderly Conduct on July 26, 2020 at 1:14 a.m. on the 800 block of Scull St.

Drug Possession – Charges of Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia have been filed against a 23 year old Philadelphia woman, and, as a result of the same incident, charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia have been filed against Kyree Wallace, a 21 year old Philadelphia man. Moore and Wallace had contact with police near a vacant property on July 10, 2020 at 12:03 a.m. on the 600 block of South 6th St.

False Reports To Law Enforcement Authorities, Careless Driving – Charges of False Reports to Law Enforcement Authorities, Required Financial Responsibility, and Careless Driving have been filed against Alberto Ventura Jr., a 32 year old Lykens resident. Ventura is accused of being involved in a single-vehicle traffic accident while operating his vehicle. Ventura told police a friend/passenger was the operator of the vehicle when the accident occurred. However, during the investigation into the accident, witnesses to the accident observed Ventura exit the driver’s side front door and the passenger exit the passenger’s side door. Police also located video evidence of Ventura operating the vehicle at the time of the accident. Charges are to be filed.

Simple Assault, Criminal Mischief – Omileshakalee Walker-Miranda, a 19 year old Lebanon resident, has been charged with Simple Assault (domestic violence related) and Criminal Mischief after an incident on July 25, 2020 at 11:40 p.m. on the 400 block of Lehman St. Walker is accused of smashing the windshield of the victim’s car with a rock and subsequently is alleged to have used the same rock to strike the 22 year old victim’s head, causing a laceration. Damage to the vehicle is estimated to be $300. Walker was apprehended and transported to LCCB. She was arraigned before MDJ Maria Dissinger and released on $10,000 unsecured bail.

Drug Possession, Public Drunkenness, Indecent Exposure, Harassment – Ramon Rodriguez, a 42 year old Lebanon resident, has been charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Public Drunkenness after contact with police on July 24, 2020 at 5:01 p.m. on the 00 block of Lehman St. He was transported to LCCB after determining Rodriguez had a Lebanon County Bench Warrant for his arrest. While at LCCB and in a holding cell, Rodriguez became disorderly, exposing his penis and urinating through the cell onto the floor of the common area. While doing so, he was making comments of a sexual nature to an employee of the booking facility. Additional charges of Indecent Exposure, Harassment, and Disorderly Conduct were filed. Rodriguez was arraigned before MDJ Maria Dissinger and incarcerated at LCCF in lieu of $2,000 on the drug charges and $2,500 on the additional charges and held on the Bench Warrant.

Prohibited Offensive Weapons, DUI – On July 14, 2020 at approximately 11:41 p.m., PSP Jonestown troopers conducted a traffic stop on a 2004 Suzuki on Cumberland St., west of South 5th Ave. in Lebanon City. A search of the vehicle yielded brass knuckles. Operator 1, Angel Figueroa Ortiz, a 49 year old Lebanon man, displayed signs of impairment and was taken into custody for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. Appropriate charges have been filed.

North Cornwall Township

Vehicle Accident, Reckless Driving, Registration Violations – On July 24, 2020 at 8:42 p.m., a vehicle accident occurred on West Cumberland St. at 20th St. Operator 1, a 24 year old Lebanon resident, pulled out of Burger King on Unit 1, a motorcycle, driving east. Operator 2, a 35 year old Lebanon resident, was driving west on Cumberland St. Operator 2 came upon road construction and needed to turn around to head eastbound. Operator 2 turned right onto South 20th St. and proceeded to pull out and Unit 1 hit him in the rear while traveling eastbound. Operator 1 was transported for unknown injuries by First Aid and Safety Patrol to the Hershey Medical Center. Operator 1 was cited for Reckless Driving and Registration violations.

Vehicle Accident – On July 26, 2020 at 11:18 a.m., a vehicle accident occurred on West Cumberland St. in the Bagel Rack parking lot. Operator 1, a 48 year old Lebanon resident, struck the rear of Operator 2, a 31 year old Lebanon resident. The Units sustained minor damage. No injuries were reported as a result of this crash.

Vehicle Accident – On July 27, 2020 at 2:14 p.m., a vehicle accident occurred on Quentin Rd. in the McDonald’s parking lot. Operator 1, a 57 year old Jonestown resident, and Operator 2, a 20 year old Lebanon resident, were parked in the drive thru lane. Operator 1’s foot slipped off the brake and hit Operator 2. The Units sustained minor damage. No injuries were reported as a result of this crash.

Vehicle Accident, Required Financial Responsibility – On July 29, 2020 at 9:40 a.m., a vehicle accident occurred at 1940 Cumberland St. in the Bagel Rack parking lot. Operator 1, a 26 year old Lebanon resident, was in front of Operator 2, a 32 year old Lebanon resident, in the drive thru. Operator 1 needed to enter the store and backed up, without looking behind her. The rear of Operator 1 struck the front of Operator 2. Minor damage was sustained by Operator 2’s vehicle. No injuries were reported as a result of this crash. Citation for Required Financial Responsibility was filed on Alvarez.

North Lebanon Township

Drug Possession – On July 27, 2020 at 11:22 p.m., at North 7th St. and Maple Ln., a traffic stop conducted by members of PSP Jonestown on a 2013 Nissan Altima yielded the seizure of marijuana and additional drug paraphernalia. The Arrestee was Joshua Jimenez, a 27 year old Lebanon man. Charges for this incident have been filed in Magisterial District Court 52-3-03.

DUI, Driving Under Suspension – Brendan Carpenter, a 43 year old Lebanon resident, was charged with Driving Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance and Driving Under Suspension after an incident that occurred on June 28, 2020 in the 1,300 block of East Lehman St.

DUI – On July 11, 2020 at 10:15 p.m., at Ebenezer Rd. and Old Ebenezer Rd., a traffic stop conducted on a 2007 Ford Focus by members of PSP Jonestown found Operator 1, a 52 year old Lebanon woman, to be under the influence of prescription medications. Charges for this incident are to be filed in Magisterial District Court 52-3-03.

Swatara Township

Vehicle Accident – On July 11, 2020 at 3:36 p.m., this crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2007 Freightliner FLD132, driven by Operator 1, a 40 year old Rosemount, MN man, was traveling in the left lane on I 81 South, approaching the area of mile marker 92.8 in Swatara Twp. There was heavy rainfall, which occurred in this immediate area, just prior to and at the time of this crash, resulting in poor visibility and wet roadways. There was a Phantom tractor trailer traveling in the right lane within close proximity of the right front end of Unit 1’s tractor. The Phantom tractor trailer, as its Operator was negotiating a left curve in the roadway, started to drift towards and over the center dotted line, into the path of Unit 1. Operator 1, concerned that Unit 1 may be struck by the Phantom tractor trailer, drove Unit 1 towards the left shoulder from the left lane as he approached mile marker 92.8, traveling around a blind left curve. As Operator 1 attempted to negotiate the left curve, he failed to maintain control of his tractor trailer and drove over the left shoulder and struck numerous guide rail posts and their attached railing along the left shoulder at I 81 South near mile marker 92.8. Unit 1 drove into the rocky ground along the left shoulder where Unit 1’s tractor struck the grass embankment, which jackknifed the tractor trailer, bringing Unit 1 to final rest, facing northeast, with the trailing unit blocking the left shoulder and partially blocking the left lane on I 81 South near mile marker 92.7, with its front end facing southeast. The left side of Unit 1’s tractor was partially suspended in midair as a result of the jackknife. This was the scene upon trooper’s arrival. Operator 1 was not injured as a result of this crash.

Theft – On July 7, 2020 at 6:30 p.m., PSP Jonestown received a report of a theft on Donna Dr. and Hillcrest Dr. Upon investigation, it was determined that fraudulent purchases were made using the Victim’s bank account. The Victim was an 18 year old Jonestown woman. Investigation is ongoing.

DUI – On July 20, 2020 at 10:51 a.m., Operator 1, a 21 year old Brooklyn, NY man, was stopped for a traffic violation at I 78 West and North Lancaster St in his 2019 Subaru. During the stop, it was determined that Operator 1 was DUI. Operator 1 was arrested for DUI and transported to the Lebanon Good Samaritan Hospital for a blood test. Charges are pending blood test results.

Union Township

Harassment – On July 23, 2020 at 6:30 p.m., the two Actors engaged in a fight at the Samsung warehouse, located on Fisher Ave. The Actors left the scene and traveled to a secondary location where one Actor threw two rocks at the other Actor’s vehicle, causing damage.

Drug Possession – On July 10, 2020 at 10:33 p.m., at Allentown Blvd. and Peacock Rd., a traffic stop on a 2010 Toyota Corolla conducted by members of PSP Jonestown yielded the seizure of marijuana and additional drug paraphernalia. The Arrestee was a 27 year old Lebanon woman. Charges for this incident are to be filed in Magisterial Court 52-3-04.

Drug Possession, DUI – On July 25, 2020 at 10:50 p.m., Operator 1, a 23 year old Reading man, was stopped for a traffic violation in the 900 block of I 81 South in his 1995 Jeep. During the stop, it was determined that Operator 1 was DUI. Operator 1 was arrested for DUI. A probable cause search was completed on the vehicle. Drugs and drug paraphernalia were located. Passenger 1, a 24 year old Harrisburg man, indicated that the items belonged to him. Griffin was transported to the Lebanon Good Samaritan Hospital for a blood test. Charges against the Reading man are pending blood results. Charges for Possession of Drugs and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia will be filed against the Harrisburg man at District Justice Ditzler’s office.
