Bethel Township

Harassment – On Sept. 15, 2020 at approximately 5:20 p.m., a physical altercation broke out between two women at the Fredericksburg Post Office on the 100 block of North Mechanic St. Non-Traffic Citations for Harassment were filed on both individuals. The Victims/Arrestees were a 52 year old Fredericksburg woman and a 19 year old Fredericksburg woman.

Cornwall Borough

Trespass, Furnishing Alcohol – A 21 year old Ephrata resident has been charged with Criminal Trespass and Furnishing Alcohol to minors for an incident on Aug. 18, 2020 at 11:11 p.m. at Miner’s Lake off of Boyd St.

East Hanover Township

Drug Possession – On Sept. 11, 2020 at approximately 8:42 p.m., PSP Jonestown troopers conducted a traffic stop on SR 22 Westbound, west of Zion Church Rd., near Allentown Blvd., in East Hanover Twp. The Operator, a 43 year old Harrisburg woman, of the vehicle, a 2014 Chevrolet Sonic, was found to be in possession of drugs. Appropriate charges are to be filed.

Drug Possession – On Aug. 30, 2020 at 1:34 a.m., State Police stopped a 2012 Mazda Mazda 3 at Blacksmith Ln. and Ono Rd. after observing traffic violations. Investigation revealed the Operator was DUI-suspended and operating the above vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and drugs. A Passenger in the vehicle was also found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. The Arrestees were a 25 year old Jonestown man and a 23 year old Annville man. Charges are pending.

Heidelberg Township

Vehicle Accident, Vehicle Entering Or Crossing Roadway – On Sept. 11, 2020 at 3:17 p.m., this reportable crash with injuries occurred at the intersection of SR 419 and South Lancaster Ave. in Heidelberg Twp. This crash occurred when Unit 1, a 2015 Chrysler Town & Country (minivan), driven by Operator 1, a 30 year old Schaefferstown woman, failed to yield the right of way while making a left-hand turn from SR 419 Westbound, onto South Lancaster St. Unit 2, a bicycle, ridden by Operator 2, a 68 year old Newmanstown man, was traveling on SR 419 East, when Unit 1 turned in front of Operator 2, causing Unit 2 to strike Unit 1. Operator 1 was not injured as a result of this crash. Operator 2 suffered minor facial injuries and was transported to WellSpan Ephrata Hospital by EMS. Unit 1 sustained minor damage to the rear passenger’s side quarter panel. Unit 2 was returned to the owner’s residence. Operator 1 was cited for Vehicle Entering or Crossing Roadway.

Jackson Township

Theft, Criminal Mischief – On Sept. 14, 2020 at 8:00 a.m., PSP Jonestown Patrol and Crime Units responded to the area of Richland Boro. and Myerstown Boro. for multiple reports of stolen political signs, damaged President Trump flags, various property defaced with red spray paint, and “Black Lives Matter” stickers placed on residences. Through the course of the investigation, surveillance was located. The unknown male was identified via surveillance and by associates as Jon Shanfelder, a Richland Boro. resident. This information was subsequently forwarded to PSP Jonestown. PSP Jonestown crime executed two search warrants on Shanfelder’s residence and vehicle. Shanfelder was taken into custody and transported back to PSP Jonestown. Trooper Bean and Trooper Schneiderhan interviewed Shanfelder and he confessed to committing all the damage and thefts. Trooper Bean filed criminal charges. Shanfelder was transported to the Lebanon County Booking Center. Trooper Bean is investigating.

Vehicle Accident, Following Too Closely – On Sept. 14, 2020 at 4:16 p.m., this two-vehicle crash occurred on West Lincoln Ave. near the intersection of South Ramona Rd. in Jackson Twp. This crash occurred when Unit 2, a 2016 Toyota Corolla, driven by Operator 2, was stopped at a stoplight waiting on the red light when Unit 1, a 2020 GMC Sierra, driven by Operator 1, struck the rear end of Unit 2. Unit 1 sustained minor damage to its front end. Unit 2 sustained minor damage to its rear end. Operator 1 was cited for Following Too Closely. There were no injuries reported as a result of this crash. Both vehicles were driven from the scene.

Lebanon City

DUI – On Sept. 5, 2020 at 12:13 a.m., PSP Jonestown conducted a traffic stop at South 10th St. and Elm St. The Operator of the vehicle was determined to be under the influence of alcohol. Charges are to be filed.

Curfew Violations – A 17 year old Lebanon male and a 17 year old Lebanon female have both been cited for Curfew Violations on Sept. 15, 2020 at 1:49 a.m. on the 700 block area of the Rail Trails.

Drug Possession – A 30 year old Lebanon woman has been cited for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia on Aug. 21, 2020 at 3:11 a.m. on the 1,100 block area of the Quittapahilla walking path.

Curfew Violation – A 14 year old North Cornwall female has been cited for a Curfew Violation on Aug. 20, 2020 at 11:36 p.m. at South 13th St. and Washington St.

Disorderly Conduct – A 59 year old man with no permanent address has been cited for Disorderly Conduct on Sept. 10, 2020 at 8:00 a.m. on the 800 block of Cumberland St.

Dogs Running At Large, Vaccination Against Rabies Required – A 36 year old Lebanon woman has been cited for Dogs Running at Large and Vaccination Against Rabies Required after an incident on Aug. 23, 2020 at 5:54 p.m. on the 500 block of Guilford St.

Trespass – A 62 year old Lebanon man has been cited for Trespass after investigation into an incident on Aug. 23, 2020 at 6:46 p.m. on the 400 block of North 16th St.

Public Drunkenness – A 34 year old North Lebanon man has been cited for Public Drunkenness on Sept. 5, 2020 at 7:53 a.m. on the 1,200 block of Maple St.

Disorderly Conduct – Jeanna Seyfert, a 19 year old Lebanon resident, has been charged with three counts of Disorderly Conduct after an incident on Sept. 11, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. on the 800 block of Locust St. Seyfert is accused of being involved in a verbal altercation which became physical as she fought with another female, creating a disturbance. She was transported to LCCB and arraigned before MDJ Carl Garver. She was incarcerated at LCCF in lieu of $5,000 bail. Sarai Martinez, a 34 year old Lebanon resident, was also cited for Disorderly Conduct as a result of this incident.

Simple Assault, False Identification To Law Enforcement Officer – Jonathan Llanos-Caballer, a 35 year old Lebanon resident, has been charged with Simple Assault (domestic violence related), False Identification to Law Enforcement Officer, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of a Controlled Substance after an incident on Sept. 11, 2020 at 7:08 p.m. on the 700 block of Poplar St.

Llanos-Caballer is accused of striking the 29 year old Victim on her legs, causing injury to her legs. He is also accused of stepping on her head multiple times when she attempted to cover herself with a blanket during the assault. The Victim did seek medical treatment for her injuries.

Llanos-Caballer fled from the scene but was found about an hour later on the 700 block of Poplar St. in a vehicle. Police allege he provided a name other than his own during the initial encounter. After being put under arrest, police allege he possessed a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. He was transported to LCCB and arraigned before MDJ Carl Garver. Llanos-Caballer was detained at LCCF in lieu of $15,000 bail.

Fugitive From Justice – Isaac Negron, a 20 year old Lebanon resident, has been charged as a Fugitive From Justice after contact with police on Sept. 11, 2020 at 9:00 a.m. on the 1,200 block of Cumberland St. Negron was wanted by authorities in New Jersey. He was transported to LCCB and arraigned before MDJ Carl Garver. Negron was held at LCCF in lieu of $25,000 bail awaiting extradition to New Jersey.

Drug Possession – Charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia have been filed against Kevin Lopez-Tirado, a 24 year old Lebanon resident, after police assisted Lebanon County Probation Officers on July 10, 2020 at 3:51 p.m. on the 500 block of Locust St.

Drug Possession – A charge of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia has been filed against Justina Snyder, a 25 year old Mt. Joy resident, after contact with police on Aug. 2, 2020. at 2:10 p.m. on the 700 block of Lehman St.

Harassment – A 29 year old Lebanon man has been cited for Harassment on Sept. 8, 2020 at 9:08 p.m. on the 200 block of Brookside Apartments.

Disorderly Conduct – A 25 year old Lebanon man and a 31 year old Lebanon man have both been cited for Disorderly Conduct on Sept. 16, 2020 at 12:04 a.m. on the 00 block of South 10th St.

Harassment, Disorderly Conduct – A 55 year old Lebanon man has been cited for Harassment and Disorderly Conduct on Sept. 15, 2020 at 2:25 a.m. on the 200 block of South 4th St.

Millcreek Township

Theft – On Sept. 16, 2020 at 9:38 a.m., PSP Jonestown troopers responded to Furnace Rd. for a reported stolen Pennsylvania Registration plate from a motorcycle. The Victim, a 56 year old Newmanstown woman, last observed the plate on the vehicle on Sept. 9, 2020 while at Bella Pizza, located at 21 East Main St.

Myerstown Borough

Sexual Assault – PSP Jonestown received a report of a possible sexual assault involving a juvenile Victim. The crime occurred between Aug. 15, 2020 at 12:00 a.m. and Sept. 11, 2020 at 3:50 p.m. on South Broad St. The Victim was a 15 year old Newmanstown female. The investigation continues.

North Londonderry Township

Retail Theft – On Sept. 9, 2020 at 11:12 a.m., an Annville woman was cited for Retail Theft after she failed to scan 11 items valued at $44.39 at Wal-Mart, located at 100 North Londonderry Sq.

Vehicle Accident, Stop Sign Violation – On Sept. 13, 2020 at 3:42 p.m., Unit 1, driven by Operator 1, a 77 year old Palmyra woman, was struck by Unit 2, driven by Operator 2, an 18 year old Annville woman, due to Operator 1 failing to yield the right of way after stopping at a posted stop sign. This crash occurred at South Railroad St. and East Elm St. No injuries were reported as a result of this crash. Unit 1 was towed from the scene. Operator 1 was cited for the Stop Sign Violation.

Vehicle Accident, Safe Speeds – On Sept. 13, 2020 at 10:10 a.m., police responded to a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of South Forge Rd. and Leon Ave. It was reported that Unit 1, driven by Operator 1, a 22 year old Hershey woman, rear-ended Unit 2, driven by Operator 2, a 36 year old Hershey woman, while waiting to turn. Operator 1 was cited with Safe Speeds. No injuries were reported as a result of this crash. Both Units were driven from the scene.

Vehicle Accident – On July 3, 2020 and July 5, 2020, Unit 1, driven by Operator 1, a 59 year old Annville woman, struck the rear of Unit 3, driven by Operator 3, a 28 year old Lebanon woman, which was stopped for a steady red traffic signal at the intersection of Main St. and Apple Blossom Ln. Unit 3 was struck so hard that it was forced into a truck, Unit 2, driven by Operator 2, a 61 year old Annville man. Two of the Occupants in Unit 3 were transported to the hospital for treatment. The investigation is still ongoing.

Vehicle Accident – Operator 1, a 59 year old Annville woman, was cited for Following Too Closely in connection with a three-vehicle crash that took place on Sept. 11, 2020 at 3:48 p.m. The crash occurred at the intersection of Main St. and Apple Blossom Ln.

Vehicle Accident, Driving Vehicle At Safe Speed, Expired Registration – The North Londonderry Twp. police department is investigating a vehicle accident on Sept. 16, 2020 at 11:55 a.m. in the 1,300 block of East Main St. in which Unit 1, driven by Operator 1, a 73 year old Palmyra woman, struck the rear of Unit 2, a 77 year old Manheim woman. Unit 2 was then pushed into Unit 3, driven by Operator 3, a 23 year old Lebanon woman. There were no injuries as a result of this crash. Unit 1 and Unit 2 were towed from the scene. Unit 3 was driven from the scene. Palmyra Fire Department assisted with spill control. Operator 1 was cited for Driving Vehicle at Safe Speed. Operator 3 was cited for Expired Registration.

Richland Borough

Vehicle Accident, Meeting Vehicle Proceeding In Opposite Direction – On Sept. 10, 2020 at 3:51 p.m., this one-vehicle crash occurred on Elm St., east of the Norfolk Southern Railroad underpass in Jackson Twp. Unit 1, a 2013 Ford Fusion, driven by Operator 1, a 21 year old Myerstown woman, was traveling westbound on Elm St., east of the underpass of Norfolk Southern Railroad. As Unit 1 approached the underpass, it went off the shoulder of the roadway and struck the underpass. Unit 1 was disabled from the crash and required towing from the scene. No injuries were reported as a result of this crash. Operator 1 was cited for Meeting Vehicle Proceeding in Opposite Direction.

Theft – On Sept. 15, 2020 at approximately 3:36 p.m., PSP Jonestown received a report of political signs being stolen from Poplar St. over the weekend. Investigation revealed two political signs were taken from the residence at the above location. The Victim was a 58 year old Richland man. PSP is investigating.

Theft – Between Sept. 13, 2020 at 11:00 p.m. and Sept. 14, 2020 at 5:30 a.m. PSP Jonestown investigated the theft of political signs from the residence on the 00 block of South Park St. The Arrestee was Jon Shanfelder, a 24 year old Richland man. The Victim was a 49 year old Richland Boro. woman. The above individual was arrested as a result of the investigation.

Theft – Between Sept. 13, 2020 at 11:00 p.m. and Sept. 14, 2020 at 8:00 a.m., PSP Jonestown investigated an incident involving numerous thefts and damages of political signs on the 00 block of West Main St. The Arrestee was Jon Shanfelder, a 24 year old Richland man. The Victims were a 39 year old Richland man, a 47 year old Richland woman, and a 52 year old Richland man. The above individual was arrested. The damaged property included a Donald Trump political sign valued at $15.00 and a Russ Diamond sign valued at $15.00. The stolen property included a Donald Trump sign valued at $15.00 and a Donald Trump flag valued at $50.00.

South Lebanon Township

Prisoner Nondrug Contraband – On Aug. 26, 2020 at 5:00 p.m., PSP Jonestown received a report of an inmate possessing a weapon on the 700 block of East Walnut St. The investigation continues.

Swatara Township

Drug Possession – On Aug. 27, 2020 at 5:23 p.m., PSP Jonestown initiated a traffic stop at I 81 South. During investigation, it was determined the rear Passenger was in possession of marijuana and related paraphernalia.

West Cornwall Township

Theft – Sometime between 8:00 p.m. on Sept. 7, 2020 and 10:15 a.m. on Sept. 8, 2020, a 2017 Bearcat Commercial Wood Chipper was stolen from a residence on South Zinn’s Mill Rd. in Quentin. The chipper, valued at $23,000, orange and black in color, was parked in a side yard at the residence.

Theft – A resident reported that recently an AM/FM radio and a Craftsman drill were stolen from his unlocked pick-up truck parked in the 100 block of North Zinn’s Mill Rd. The items are valued at $170.00.
