Bethel Township

Vehicle Accident – On Nov. 5, 2020 at approximately 3:54 p.m., PSP responded to a reported crash on South Pine Grove St. at SR 22. This crash occurred as Unit 2, a 2018 Ford F150XLT, driven by Operator 2, a 70 year old Fredericksburg man, entered the lane to merge onto SR 22 East and yielded to traffic and was subsequently rear-ended by Unit 1, a 2013 Kia Soul, driven by Operator 1, a 64 year old Lebanon man. No injuries were reported as a result of this crash. Operator 1 was cited for Following Too Closely.

Vehicle Accident – On Nov. 6, 2020 at 5:20 p.m., this two motor vehicle crash occurred in the Redners Quick Shop parking lot, located at 2975 SR 22 in Bethel Twp. This crash occurred as Operator 1 was traveling west, attempting to pull into a parking spot and struck Unit 2, a 2014 Toyota RAV4, driven by Operator 2, which was legally parked in a parking spot. Unit 1, a 1995 Lincoln-Continental Town Car, sustained minimal scratches and damage to its right front passenger’s side bumper. Unit 2 had a small dent and scratches on the driver’s side door. Neither Operator 1 nor Operator 2 were injured as a result of the crash and both Unit 1 and Unit 2 were driven away from the scene.

Harassment – On Nov. 5, 2020 at approximately 9:56 a.m., PSP Jonestown responded to the 100 block of North Center St. in Bethel Twp. for a report of an active domestic incident. The Victim related the Arrestee arrived at her residence and was not making sense. The Victim related the Arrestee then entered her residence and held her by wrapping his arms around her and preventing her from walking away from him. Upon arrival, the Arrestee was taken into custody and Emergency Medical Services responded and transported the Arrestee to the WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital for a psychological evaluation. The Arrestee was cited with Harassment within MDJ 52-3-03. The Arrestee was a 42 year old Nazareth man. The Victim was a 62 year old Fredericksburg woman. PSP is investigating.

Vehicle Accident – On Nov. 7, 2020 at 5:46 p.m., this crash occurred on South Pine Grove St. in Bethel Twp. Unit 1, a 2020 Ford Escape, driven by Operator 1, was traveling southbound when a deer ran out of an open field on the east side of the roadway. The deer then crossed the northbound travel lane and directly into the path of southbound Unit 1 where the impact occurred. After impact, Unit 1 exited the roadway where it came to its position of final rest on the right shoulder. Unit 1 sustained damage to the front-end. The front hood, bumper, and passenger’s side fender were dented. Unit 1’s passenger’s side headlight was broken. Operator 1 was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash and reported no injuries. The lower driver’s side leg airbag was deployed as a result of this crash. Unit 1 was driven from the scene by Operator 1.

City of Lebanon

Simple Assault – Jose Mercado-Velzaquez, a 32 year old with no permanent address, has been charged with Simple Assault (domestic violence related) after an incident on Nov. 1, 2020 at 12:59 a.m. on the 300 block of North 4th St. Mercado-Velzaquez is accused of choking and striking the 17 year old male Victim, causing minor injury. Mercado-Velzaquez was apprehended and transported to LCCB. He was arraigned by Anthony Verna and detained at LCCF in lieu of $7,500 bail.

Simple Assault, Recklessly Endangering Another Person – Catia Barrett, a 26 year old with no permanent address, has been charged with Simple Assault, Recklessly Endangering Another Person, and Public Drunkenness on Nov. 1, 2020 at 2:02 a.m. on the 800 block of Quentin Rd. Barrett is accused of punching the driver of a vehicle while the vehicle was in motion. After being punched, the 25 year old Victim lost control of her vehicle which resulted in a motor vehicle accident. No one was injured as a result of the accident. After the accident, Leydianne Rosario, a 25 year old Lebanon resident, is alleged to have punched Barrett, causing minor injury. Charges of Simple Assault and Public Drunkenness were filed against Rosario. Barrett was transported to LCCB and arraigned before MDJ Anthony Verna. She was incarcerated at LCCF in lieu of $20,000 bail.

Receiving Stolen Property – Felix Mercado, a 50 year old North Cornwall resident, has been charged with Receiving Stolen Property and Driving While Operating Privilege is Suspended or Revoked after a traffic stop on Nov. 1, 2020 at 4:03 a.m. on the 700 block of Monument St. Police observed Mercado strike a parked car and observed the muffler dragging on the roadway. The officer made contact with Mercado and discovered he had a suspended driver’s license and was operating a vehicle reported as stolen to North Cornwall Police. Mercado was transported to LCCB and arraigned before MDJ Anthony Verna. He was incarcerated at LCCF in lieu of $50,000 bail.

Simple Assault – Michael Alejandro-Rosa, a 27 year old Lebanon resident, has been charged with Simple Assault (domestic violence related) after an incident on Oct. 30, 2020 at 10:15 a.m. on the 00 block of South 8th St. Alejandro is accused of punching the 28 year old Victim multiple times, causing a laceration to her head. The laceration required medical treatment. Alejandro fled the scene prior to police arrival. He was apprehended later the same day and transported to LCCB. Alejandro was arraigned by MDJ Anthony Verna and incarcerated at LCCF in lieu of $25,000 bail.

Cornwall Borough

Vehicle Accident – On Nov. 5, 2020 at 4:43 p.m., this crash occurred on Boyd St. at Schaeffer Rd. Unit 1, driven by Operator 1, a 22 year old Lebanon resident, struck Unit 2, driven by Operator 2, a 46 year old, at the intersection. No injuries occurred as a result of this crash. The vehicles were towed from the scene.

Vehicle Accident – On Nov. 5, 2020 at 8:30 a.m., this crash occurred on SR 117 at 72 South Ramp. Unit 1, driven by Operator 1, a 20 year old, was traveling east on SR 117 when he lost control of his vehicle, went up an embankment, and struck a tree. No injuries occurred as a result of this crash. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

East Hanover Township

Vehicle Accident – On Oct. 29, 2020 at 3:52 p.m., this crash occurred as both Unit 1, a 2000 Dodge Dakota, driven by Operator 1, a 58 year old Girardville man, accompanied by Passenger 1, a 65 year old Girardville woman, and Unit 2, a 2015 Toyota RAV4, driven by Operator 2, a 35 year old Harrisburg man, accompanied by Passenger 2, a 31 year old Harrisburg woman, Passenger 3, a 6 year old Harrisburg male, and Passenger 4, a 1 year old Harrisburg female, were traveling south on I 81 in the right lane of travel. Unit 1 was directly behind Unit 2. Unit 1 was traveling too fast for the conditions and attempted to use its brakes. Due to the wet road conditions, Unit 1 continued traveling south and subsequently hit Unit 2 in its rear portion. Unit 1 and Unit 2 were able to move their vehicles to the lefthand shoulder of the roadway. Unit 2 was towed by Motter’s Towing. Passenger 2 was transported to the Hershey Medical Center for treatment of suspected minor injuries. Operator 1, Passenger 1, Operator 2, Passenger 3, and Passenger 4 were not injured as a result of the crash. Operator 1 was cited for Driving Vehicle at Safe Speeds.

Myerstown Borough

Vehicle Accident – On Nov. 5, 2020 at 11:08 a.m., this crash occurred on South Railroad St. at its intersection with East Center Ave. in Myerstown. Unit 1, a 2006 Ford Escape, driven by Operator 1, an 18 year old Myerstown woman, was preparing to cross South Railroad St. and struck Unit 2, a 1998 Harley-Davidson Street Glide, driven by Operator 2, a 47 year old Myerstown man, in the middle of the intersection. Unit 1 came to final rest in the parking lot on the north side of West Center Ave. Unit 2 came to final rest in the parking lot on the west side of South Railroad St. Unit 1 and Unit 2 both sustained minor damage as a result of this crash. Neither Unit 1 nor Unit 2 were towed. Operator 2 sustained injuries as a result of this crash and was transported to an area hospital for evaluation by Myerstown EMS. Operator 1 was cited for Stop Signs and Yield Signs. PSP Jonestown was assisted on scene by Myerstown EMS and Lebanon County fire companies.

Criminal Trespass – On Nov. 5, 2020 at 10:50 p.m., the Defendant, knowing that he was not licensed or privileged to do so, entered or remained in a place, namely, Bayer Corp. Parking Lot #1, located at 400 West Stoever Ave. in Myerstown Boro. as to which notice against trespass was given by posting in a manner prescribed by law or reasonably likely to come to the attention of intruders, namely, posted no trespassing signage, in violation of Section 3503(b)(1)(i) of the Pennsylvania Crimes Code, Act of December 6, 1972, 18 Pa. C.S. -3503(b)(1)(ii). The Defendant was a 37 year old Myerstown man.

North Lebanon Township

DUI – Tristin George, a 23 year old Lebanon resident, was charged with Driving Under the Influence and Traffic Violations after an incident in the 1500 block of Rolling Meadows Dr.

Retail Theft, Conspiracy – Brooke Behney, a 27 year old Grantville resident, and Laura Field, a 33 year old Fredericksburg resident, were charged with Retail Theft and Conspiracy after an incident at the Lebanon Walmart on Oct. 13, 2020 after failing to pay for $173 worth of merchandise.

Theft – Jose Colon-Martinez, a 21 year old Lebanon resident, was charged with Theft after taking cash totaling $280 as a result of an incident that occurred in the 400 block of North 11th Ave. on May 13, 2020.

DUI – Allen Gerena, a 40 year old Lebanon resident, was charged with Driving Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia after being involved in a traffic accident that occurred on May 16, 2020 in the 1500 block of Sandhill Rd.

North Londonderry Township

Vehicle Accident – On Nov. 4, 2020 at 6:16 p.m., the North Londonderry Twp. police department investigated a motor vehicle crash on the 200 block of Plaza Dr. in Palmyra. The crash occurred when a 62 year old Annville man drifted into the lane of a 43 year old Annville man, striking his vehicle. No injuries were reported at the scene. The 62 year old man was cited for Driving on the Right Side of the Roadway.

Union Township

Vehicle Accident – On Nov. 5, 2020 at approximately 6:24 p.m., PSP Jonestown responded to a reported crash on SR 72 near Huckleberry Rd. This crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by Operator 1, emerged from a driveway and sideswiped Unit 2, a 2007 Ford Fusion, driven by Operator 2, in the southbound lane of SR 72. Operator 1 was cited for Emerging From Alley, Driveway, or Building.

Overdose – On Nov. 6, 2020 at 9:47 p.m., PSP Jonestown responded to Micro Dr. for a report of an overdose. Investigation revealed that the Subject involved took a hit of K2 at his residence prior to being driven to work by a friend. Upon arrival, the Subject was alert and conscious. Penn State Life Lion Emergency Medical Services arrived on scene and transported the Subject to WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital for a medical evaluation. PSP is investigating.

West Cornwall Township

Vehicle Accident – On Oct. 29, 2020 at 8:24 p.m., this crash occurred on Old Mine Rd. and SR 117. Operator 1, a 19 year old Lebanon man, was northbound on SR 117, traveled off the roadway and struck an embankment on the westside of SR 117. No injuries occurred as a result of this crash. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

Vehicle Accident – On Oct. 30, 2020 at 4:07 p.m., this crash occurred on South Butler Rd. and Old Mine Rd. Unit 1, driven by Operator 1, a 22 year old Lebanon woman, and Unit 2, driven by Operator 2, a 56 year old Manheim man, were involved in this crash. Unit 1 began to cross the intersection when it was struck by Unit 2. No injuries occurred as a result of this crash. The vehicles were towed from the scene.
