Pianist Yuze Lee, 15, was born in Hong Kong and moved to the U.S. at the age of 3. He studies piano with pianist and conductor Ignat Solzhenitsyn. He grew up in Orange County, CA, where he began studying piano at the age of 4 after developing an early interest in music. Yuze studied at LePort Montessori through middle school and is currently attending Fusion Academy for ninth grade.
In 2024, Yuze performed with the Hollywood Chamber Orchestra at Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles. He has participated in several international festivals and competitions. In 2025, he was awarded first place in the concerto competition at the Philadelphia International Music Festival and was invited to perform with members of the Philadelphia Orchestra. He received Second Place Honorable Mention in the Los Angeles Youth Philharmonic Piano Concerto Competition and was invited to perform with the orchestra in March 2025. He has also received awards at the Triumph Music Festival, the Singapore International Music Festival, and the American Protégé International Piano and Strings Competition, where he earned second place and was invited to perform at the winners’ recital at Carnegie Hall in New York. He has also participated in the Music Fest Perugia in Italy.

104th Annual Wenger Reunion at Wenger Meetinghouse

You are invited to attend the 104th annual Wenger Reunion to be held the weekend of Aug. 21-23. The historical meeting will be held on Friday, Aug. 21, at 7 p.m., at the Wenger Meetinghouse, 16 Supervisors Dr., Jonestown. The meeting will include a presentation entitled “Canal Days in the Tulpehocken” by Linda Manwiller of Myerstown. There is no charge to attend the meeting.
On Saturday, Aug. 22, we will hold a bus tour for the Hans and Hannah Wenger (G-line) family and their descendants. We will meet at the Wenger Meetinghouse at 8 a.m. and return at noon. The presentation and banquet will be held at Country Fare Restaurant, 498 E. Lincoln Ave. (Route 422), Myerstown. Advance registration is required, and the cost to attend is $35.00/person.
