Simple assault, terroristic threats – Police charged Joshua Vega, 26, with simple assault (domestic violence-related) and terroristic threats after an incident at around 7 p.m. Aug. 25 on the 200 block of South Partridge Street.
Simple assault – Police charged Darwin Almonte, 39, with simple assault (domestic violence-related) after an incident at around 4 a.m. Aug. 24 on the 00 block of North 6th Street.
Endangering the welfare of children – Police charged Abigail Guzman, 24, with leaving a child unattended in a vehicle and endangering the welfare of children after an incident at around 4:15 p.m. Aug. 17 on the 400 block of South 8th Street.
Criminal mischief, disorderly conduct – Police charged Nicholas Snyder, 38, with criminal mischief and disorderly conduct after an incident at around 2 a.m. Aug. 13 on the 00 block of North 9th Street.
DUI – Police charged Nicholas Royster, 68, with DUI after an incident at around 11:15 p.m. June 16 on the 400 block of New Street.
Jackson Township
Vehicle accident – At 9:25 a.m. Aug. 19, a 1995 Kenworth driven by a 19-year-old Watsontown man was traveling south on North College Street, approaching slow-moving traffic, when the Kenworth exited its lane and merged into oncoming traffic. A northbound 2013 GMC Sierra driven by a 31-year-old Myerstown woman, accompanied by a 4-year-old boy and 8-, 6-, and 1-year-old girls, was struck by the Kenworth. The occupants sustained no injuries and did not require medical attention. Both vehicles sustained disabling damage and were towed from the scene. Police charged the man with driving on right side of roadway.
Lebanon County Regional
Arrest prior to requisition – Police arrested William Wenrich, 68, on a charge of fugitive from justice. On Aug. 20, police pulled over a vehicle on the 2000 block of West Cumberland Street in West Lebanon Township for a suspended registration. During the traffic stop, police discovered that Wenrich had an active felony larceny warrant out of Tennessee. Police took Wenrich into custody and transported him to LCCB.
Arrest warrant served – On Aug. 19, police arrested Matthew Uronis, 42, on an arrest warrant, with the original charge being felony retail theft, stemming from his involvement in a theft totaling $608.32 at Target in North Cornwall Township on May 6.
Criminal warrant served – On Aug. 19, police arrested Ashley Byrd, 42, on a criminal warrant, with the original charge being misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance, stemming from a drug investigation at Salvation Army in North Lebanon Township on April 28.
Defiant trespass – On Aug. 18, police responded to Henry Molded Products in West Lebanon Township for a trespassing complaint. Police made contact with Dustin Weaver, 42, and Isabel Weaver, 27, who were trespassing on the property, and ordered them to leave. At 9:30 a.m. Aug. 22, police checked the property and found them trespassing again. Police escorted them off the property and charged them with misdemeanor defiant trespass.
Defiant trespass, retail theft – At 5:30 p.m. July 30, police responded to Walmart in North Lebanon Township after a 14-year-old girl entered the store, concealed merchandise, and fled without paying. Police determined that the girl trespassed on the property during a separate retail theft earlier this year. Police made contact with the girl’s parent and charged her with misdemeanor defiant trespass and summary retail theft.
Theft of lost or mislaid property, receiving stolen property – On July 21, police began investigating a theft in the early morning hours at Rutter’s in West Lebanon Township. Police said Kevin Bacon, 44, stole a cellphone from Rutter’s on that date and sold it on the 900 block of Church Street, Lebanon. Police obtained an arrest warrant for Bacon for misdemeanor theft of lost or mislaid property and misdemeanor receiving stolen property, and apprehended him on Aug. 21.
Retail theft – On July 16, police responded to Walmart in North Lebanon Township for a retail theft that occurred earlier in the morning. Walmart employees provided officers with surveillance footage showing a white female select merchandise, place it under the outdoor garden area fence, and later retrieve it without paying for it. Police identified the subject as Arlene Giorgio, 68, and and later located the stolen merchandise at Giorgio’s home. Police found Giorgio had three prior convictions for retail theft and charged her with felony retail theft.
Endangering the welfare of children, selling or furnishing liquor – On July 4, police responded to a well-being check of a 14-year-old girl at a party on the 900 block of Laurel Street in North Lebanon Township hosted by Stephanie Bevilacqua, 38, and Gina Rutter, 41. Police found the girl was highly intoxicated and unable to stand or walk. An ambulance was called, and the girl was evaluated and transported to the hospital for treatment. Police said Bevilacqua and Rutter were aware that the girl was drinking alcohol at the party and charged them with misdemeanor endangering the welfare of children and misdemeanor selling or furnishing liquor or malt or brewed beverages to minors.
Receiving stolen property, theft, loitering and prowling at nighttime – Additional charges have been filed against Dilan Escalera-Ortiz, 22, in reference to a stolen vehicle investigation on the 2400 block of Long Lane in Lebanon on June 27 to include two counts of misdemeanor receiving stolen property, five counts of misdemeanor theft, and seven counts of misdemeanor loitering and prowling at nighttime.
DUI – Police charged Chase Etnoyer, 23, with two counts of misdemeanor DUI-controlled substance/combination and summary duties at a stop sign after a crash on June 17 at Kochenderfer Road and North 7th Street in North Lebanon Township. Police said Etnoyer failed to stop at a posted stop sign, resulting in the collision. Police determined that Etnoyer was under the influence of a combination of a controlled substance and alcohol at the time of the crash.
Drug possession – At 1:40 a.m. May 13, police located Kevin Bacon, 44, trespassing on the 00 block of South 22nd Street in North Cornwall Township and found him to be in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Police obtained an arrest warrant for Bacon for misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, and apprehended him on Aug. 21.
Drug possession – At 11:10 a.m. May 6, police responded to Rutter’s in West Lebanon Township for a narcotics complaint. Police said Michael Price, 22, was in possession of methamphetamine, THC, and drug paraphernalia and charged Price with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
Criminal mischief, public drunkenness, open lewdness – At around 11:19 p.m. April 10, police responded to Plaza Apartments in North Cornwall Township for a naked man who was running around the neighborhood acting erratically. Police were advised that the subject had thrown himself through a window, causing damage. Police located the subject, identified him as 40-year-old Jesi Boyd, determined that he was under the influence, and charged him with misdemeanor criminal mischief, misdemeanor disorderly conduct, summary public drunkenness, and misdemeanor open lewdness.
False identification to law enforcement – At around 12:01 p.m. March 14, police pulled over a vehicle on the 1900 block of Chestnut Street in North Cornwall Township for a vehicle code violation. Brandon Mullins, 28, did not have identification with him but provided a relative’s name and date of birth as his own. Police issued Mullins a citation and released him from the traffic stop. On June 23, police were contacted by another police department, which advised them of the subject’s actual name. Police confirmed the information and found Mullins had a suspended driver’s license. Police charged Mullins with misdemeanor false identification to law enforcement and summary driving while suspended.
Myerstown Borough
Hit-and-run crash – At 3:54 p.m. Aug. 24, a 2024 Subaru XV Crosstrek driven by a 58-year-old Schaefferstown woman was traveling on Route 501, approaching West Stoever Avenue, when another vehicle turned left onto West Stoever Avenue and struck the driver’s side of the Subaru. The other vehicle fled the scene west on West Stoever Avenue. No injuries were reported. The Subaru was driven from the scene. The other vehicle is described as a black sedan driven by a white male. Anyone with information on the other vehicle is asked to call state police at 717-865-2194.
South Lebanon Township
Resisting arrest, evading arrest or detention on foot, reckless driving – At around 7:52 p.m. Aug. 26, police observed a vehicle traveling around 67 mph in a 25 mph zone on South Lincoln Avenue. When police attempted to stop the vehicle, the driver allegedly continued at a high rate of speed and passed two vehicles by crossing a double yellow line. Police located the vehicle a short time later on Southfield Road. The driver, identified as Joshua Zimmerman, 43, allegedly fled on foot and resisted officers while being taken into custody. Police found Zimmerman had a suspended driver’s license and two outstanding arrest warrants, and charged Zimmerman with misdemeanor resisting arrest, misdemeanor evading arrest or detention on foot, misdemeanor fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, summary reckless driving, summary driving while suspended, and summary maximum speed limits. Police transported Zimmerman to LCCB for arraignment.
Violation of Pennsylvania Medical Marijuana Act – On Aug. 13, police pulled over a vehicle in the area of Metro Drive and South 5th Avenue. During the traffic stop, the driver, Gregory Hetrick, 66, admitted to smoking marijuana while operating the vehicle. Hetrick had a valid Pennsylvania Medical Marijuana Patient ID Card. Police charged Hetrick with a misdemeanor violation of the Pennsylvania Medical Marijuana Act.
Agricultural vandalism, reckless driving – On Aug. 5, police investigated a report of vandalism to a cornfield and private roadway that occurred the previous evening. Police determined that a white Ford pickup truck had driven off the private roadway and through the cornfield, causing about $800 in damage. Surveillance footage showed the vehicle, and police identified Ayden Stevey, 20, as the driver. Police charged Stevey with misdemeanor agricultural vandalism, and summary reckless driving.
Drug possession – On May 20, police pulled over a vehicle on the 700 block of East Walnut Street for a traffic violation. Police obtained and executed a search warrant on the vehicle, resulting in the discovery of methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia. Police charged Scott Lingle, 60, with misdemeanor possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, misdemeanor possession of a small amount of marijuana, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, and summary turning movements and required signals.
Theft by deception, altered, forged, or counterfeit documents and plates – On April 24, police received a report of theft from 84 Lumber and determined that Sergio Arevalo Boj, 42, allegedly used a fraudulent Pennsylvania driver’s license to obtain two orders of building materials totaling $2,480.86. The transactions were later disputed and charged back as fraudulent. Police charged Arevalo Boj with misdemeanor theft by deception and misdemeanor altered, forged, or counterfeit documents and plates.
Theft by deception – On April 22, police received a report of fraudulent wage claims involving Wicare Home Care Agency and determined that Evelyn Arroyo, 22, allegedly submitted and received payment for services over three months when an individual assigned to her care was hospitalized and not under her care. The fraudulent wage claims totaled $27,355.85. Police charged Arroyo with felony theft by deception.
Drug possession, false identification to law enforcement – On Feb. 25, police pulled over a vehicle in the area of East Walnut and East Cumberland streets for a vehicle equipment violation. Police located methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia in the area occupied by a passenger who provided false identifying information to officers. Police identified the passenger as Jason Case, 37, and determined that the methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia belonged to him. Police charged Case with misdemeanor possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, misdemeanor false identification to law enforcement, and summary restrictions on alcoholic beverages.
What happens to stolen vehicles? – When most people hear about a vehicle theft, they imagine a thief stealing a car and driving it forever. In reality, that’s rarely what happens.
Stolen vehicles are often used for a variety of purposes, and many are recovered within days or weeks. Some are taken for transportation, others are used to commit additional crimes, and some are dismantled for parts. In certain cases, thieves attempt to alter vehicle identification numbers or sell stolen vehicles using fraudulent paperwork.
While law enforcement agencies work hard to recover stolen vehicles and identify offenders, prevention remains the most effective tool. Many vehicle thefts could be prevented through simple security measures.
To reduce your risk:
- Lock your vehicle every time you park.
- Take your key or key fob with you.
- Never leave a vehicle running and unattended.
- Park in well-lit, highly visible locations whenever possible.
- Remove valuables from plain sight.
Auto theft is more than an inconvenience. Stolen vehicles are often connected to other criminal activity and can create significant financial and emotional stress for victims. The good news is that many vehicle thefts are crimes of opportunity. By taking a few extra seconds to secure your vehicle, you can make it a far less attractive target.

South Londonderry Township
Vehicle accident – At 5:59 p.m. Aug. 18, a 2026 Chevrolet Silverado was traveling west in the left lane on I-76 ahead of a 2023 GMC. Both vehicles approached an active work zone with a lane closure about a 1/2-mile west of where the crash occurred. The GMC rear-ended the Chevrolet in the left lane.
Union Township
DUI crash – On Aug. 23, a 37-year-old Middletown woman operated a white 2012 BMW X5M on Suedberg and Sand Siding roads while under the influence of alcohol.
Western Lebanon County Regional
Theft – On Aug. 14, police charged a 14-year-old boy and a 17-year-old boy with misdemeanor theft. Charges stem from an incident June 15 on the 500 block of Red Haven Road in Palmyra in which $300 was stolen.
Driving while suspended, harassment – At around 7:34 p.m. July 30, police responded to the 00 block of North Lancaster Street in Annville for a report of a physical domestic. Police determined that Ryan Musser, 44, fled the scene in a gray Ford Escape, and Musser’s driver’s license status was suspended in relation to a prior DUI conviction. Police issued an arrest warrant for Musser for misdemeanor driving while suspended, DUI-related, third or subsequent offense, and summary harassment.
