Formed in 2018 and based in Allentown, PA, DMC Duo has been playing Pennsylvania and surrounding areas for five years. DMC Duo began working on original material in 2021 and debuted their first song, Loved You Anyway, followed by their country rock song, Pump, in 2022. 2023 brought the release of the original song Getaway, and a five-song EP dropped on Jan. 1, 2024. Their sound includes a country style mixed with rock and pop.
Darrell Adams and Marisa Dawson have been seen playing/singing individually in various bands and duos for many years. After meeting each other while both filling in for the same band and realizing there was a great chemistry between them, they decided to join forces to create the successful duo that they have today. Do not let the name fool you, as DMC Duo also expands and performs as a trio and full band.
DMC Duo is a 2022 Central Pennsylvania Music Award Winner and a 2023 nominee, a multiple-category nominee for the 2023 Josie Music Awards, as well as a multiple-category nominee for the upcoming ISSA Awards and the FPCM Media Red Carpet Awards in Holland.

Live Music with Six Bar Break at Fredericksburg Eagle Hotel
6-11:59 p.m., Saturday, September 26 | 101 E. Main St., Fredericksburg
Six Bar Break is a full-throttle roots rock trio based in Harrisburg, PA. Helmed by the group’s primary songwriter, Ben Bollinger, they’ve been spreading the word about the band throughout the Mid-Atlantic region and picking up new fans everywhere they go.
Their style and sound take a little bit of inspiration from yesterday and today, describing it as a modern fusion of roots, rock, and blues, but still uniquely original. They’re constantly driven to create something of their own — something built on the solos, riffs, and beats, glued together with a vocal begging to be heard, and a story ready to be told.
The band independently released their first EP in September 2016, “Echo Seven Nine,” and just completed production on their 2017 release, “Broken Road,” with Fred Pellegrini and Progressive Studios. Anytime they’re not on tour, you can find them streaming live to fans on YouTube and Periscope, releasing new videos, staying in the top 10 on the Reverbnation charts, and working on the next big thing.

LVC Small Cast Musical: ‘Into the Woods’ at Allan W. Mund College Center’s Leedy Theater
$6.09 – $21.65 | 7 p.m., Saturday, September 26 | White Oak Street, Annville
Music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim. Book by James Lapine.
The first act follows familiar fairy-tale characters pursuing their dreams: Cinderella wishes to attend the king’s festival. Jack hopes to save his family’s farm. Little Red Riding Hood travels through the woods to visit her grandmother. A baker and his wife desperately want a child. A witch reveals that the baker’s family was cursed years ago and tells the couple they can break the spell by finding four magical items within three days. As all of the characters journey into the woods, their stories overlap in unexpected ways. By the end of the first act, many wishes appear to come true.
The second act explores what happens after “happily ever after.” The characters discover that achieving their wishes does not solve all their problems, and their actions have unintended consequences. When a vengeful giant threatens the kingdom, the surviving characters must confront loss, responsibility, and the impact they have on one another. The musical ultimately suggests that while life is messy and uncertain, people are stronger when they face challenges together.
