The East Hanover Township Board of Supervisors unanimously approved two subdivision plans and heard requests for funding in 2027 at its monthly meeting Monday.
Supervisors unanimously approved a two-lot subdivision at 5 Groff Road and a subdivision/lot addition plan at 41 Picnic Woods Road, both contingent on applicants addressing remaining comments and at the recommendation of the planning commission.
Neither plans include new construction, with the former dividing a 126-acre agricultural lot into two lots and the latter reconfiguring lot lines between three existing lots. Both received plan scale waivers, and the latter received a waiver for separate preliminary and final plans.
Supervisors also unanimously approved a stormwater management exemption plan for 10323 Allentown Blvd., where owners plan to build a new house and driveway on the 9.23-acre lot. The parcel will still have 7,300 square feet of remaining exemptable impervious coverage after construction, planning commission chairman Marvin Smith said. The lot already includes a shed and a driveway.
Approval was granted conditional on the applicant addressing remaining comments.
As the township is now working on the 2027 budget, the board also heard requests for funding increases from Annville Free Library and the fire department.
Ronice Nolt of the library said that 2026 has been a good year, with users of the library up and new programs, such as Fine Motor Fridays for young children and their parents and the Library of Things, which includes museum passes and TONIES audio players. Nolt requested a donation increase of $500 in the new year.

Supervisor Ed Heagy said he felt the library was overall doing well but criticized its Pride events.
“Some parents talked to me about the way you promote Pride Month in June, I don’t really appreciate that,” said Heagy. “I don’t like seeing my money going to an organization that promotes that agenda, so you might wanna rethink that.”
Though a representative was not present, Northern Lebanon Fire and Emergency Services requested a 20% increase in funding.
The board will hold a budget meeting Oct. 19 to work out budget details prior to their adoption.
