LebTown features a different Lebanon County pet each Friday to help us enter the weekend with the best vibes possible.

The Pet of the Week sometimes features a local furbaby who already lives in a happy Lebanon County home. Other times the column spotlights an animal that’s available for adoption through a local shelter and is seeking a forever family.

This week, meet adoptable Brooklyn!

This 11-month-old pup is “adorably bug-eyed and a BIG snorer,” says Pitties.Love.Peace rep Mika Stiefel. She’s “snuggly, curious, bouncy” and “always ready for an adventure, whether that’s exploring the city or just her own yard.”

Brooklyn walks well on leash and “absolutely melts when she sees another human outside,” Mika adds. She enjoys playing with her toys, and she loves to play and wrestle with other dogs, so her ideal household would have “at least one young and playful canine companion for her to pal around with.”

She’s crate-trained and almost completely housebroken, Mika notes, and she’s “routine-oriented and will thrive with structure and boundaries.” Her suitably for a cat companion is unknown, but she could be tested if a good candidate for adoption is found.
