The Department of Veterans Affairs has announced the appointment of Jeffrey A. Beiler II as the new director of the Lebanon VA Medical Center.
Beiler will take over the position from chief operating officer Jaconda M. Lightburn, who has been serving as interim director since the previous director, Robert Callahan, retired earlier this year. Beiler’s start date has not yet been announced.

“We are very excited to welcome Mr. Beiler to his new role,” said Timothy W. Liezert, Veterans Integrated Service Network 4 director. “I am grateful for his experience and consistent leadership throughout our network.”
VISN 4 is a network of nine VA campuses across 83 counties in Pennsylvania, Delaware, Ohio, West Virginia, New York, and New Jersey.
Before taking the helm at Lebanon VAMC, Beiler served as the interim director of the Wilmington VA Medical Center in Delaware since Jan. 31 and was previously the director of the Coatesville VA Medical Center. Beiler also served as chief operating officer of the Lebanon VAMC from November 2017 to October 2020, according to his LinkedIn page.
The Lebanon VAMC serves nearly 50,000 veterans annually across a nine-county area in south-central Pennsylvania. It employs over 2,000 people and oversees community clinics in Mechanicsburg, Lancaster, Pottsville, Wyomissing, and York.
