Charles Joseph Shipper, 65, of Lebanon, PA, passed away peacefully with family by his side on Sept. 22, 2026, at The John Hopkins Hospital. He was born on Nov. 25, 1960, in Rockville Centre, NY, to the late John E. and Patricia A. (Gugler) Shipper.

Charles was a 1979 graduate of ELCO and retired from Sonoco Products. He enjoyed spending time working in his yard and garden. Charles was a lifelong Jets fan. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially trips to the beach and beating everyone at Mario Kart.

He is survived by his life partner, Sunny Bleistein; stepdaughter, Nikki Favuzza, and husband, Frank; stepson, Shawn Frederick; grandchildren, Brayden, Aubree, Alivia, Jasmine, and Ashlyn; brother, Jonathan Shipper, and wife, Patricia; sister, Mary Ann Newhouse, and husband, Thomas; and nieces and nephews, Laura, Jonathan, Christopher, Emily, Courtney, Justin, Tyler, and Lauren. He was predeceased by his first wife, Barbara (Shirk) Shipper.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, Oct. 2, 2026, at 11 a.m., at Mary Gate of Heaven Catholic Church, 188 W. McKinley Ave., Myerstown, PA 17067, with Rev. David Hereshko officiating. A visitation will take place from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery, Myerstown, PA. Arrangements have been entrusted to Grose Funeral Home Inc., 358 W. Washington Ave., Myerstown, PA 17067.
