Joseph Francis Troain, 82, of Lebanon, PA, passed away at home with family by his side on Sept. 6, 2026. He was born on Feb. 23, 1944, in Lebanon, PA, to the late Ostin and Ruth (Douple) Troain. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Robin Carol (Eberly) Troain.
Joseph attended Lebanon Catholic High School and retired from General Electric after 33 years of dedicated service. He was an avid sports fan and loved watching NASCAR, Notre Dame, the Phillies, the Eagles, and the Green Bay Packers. He was a member of numerous social clubs in Lebanon County. Joseph enjoyed hunting and the thing he enjoyed most of all was being with his family and the time he spent with his grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Jane Troain, Mary Germann, and her husband, Brian, and Jennifer Scaramuzzino, and her fiancé, Wiskay Pauleus; grandchildren, Antonio Scaramuzzino, Mya Pauleus, and Deja Pauleus; and siblings, Ruth Mish and Nicholas Troain, and his wife, Barb. He was predeceased by his siblings, Mary Snyder, Philomena Leed, and Ralph, Edward, and John Troain.
Services have been entrusted to Grose Funeral Home Inc., 358 W. Washington Ave., Myerstown, PA 17067. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, Finance Department, 30 E. 33rd St., New York, NY 10016, or kidney.org.
