Lois E. Cosentino, 93, of Myerstown, PA, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 20, 2026, at Stone Ridge Poplar Run. She was the wife of Joseph R. “Bob” Cosentino, to whom she was married for 45 years.
Born in Lewistown, PA, she was a daughter of the late Lewis Q. and Esther E. (Mowery) Brannon. Lois retired from the Department of Labor, where she worked as a claims examiner. She was Roman Catholic by faith and attended Mary Gate of Heaven Catholic Church in Myerstown. Lois enjoyed traveling the world, camping, reading on the patio, attending plays, and, for 25 years, traveling to Naples, FL, in the winter months with her husband. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Bob, she is survived by her children, Jeff Wertz, and wife, Amina, and Lauren, wife of Robert Davis; step-children, Anne, wife of Marc Ruber, Mary, wife of Tim Mullen, and Michael Cosentino, and wife, Hannah. There are 14 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Lois was preceded in death by her sisters, Betty, Dorothy, and Pearl; step-daughter, Debra Cosentino; and step-grandchild, Jennifer Muth.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, Aug. 29, 2026. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., followed by a short service at Stone Ridge Poplar Run, 440 E. Lincoln Ave., Myerstown, PA 17067. The inurnment will be in Gibbsboro, NJ, on Sunday, Aug. 30, beginning at 10 a.m., at Cedar Grove Cemetery, 43 W. Clementon Road.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, stjude.org, in her memory.
