Ralph David Adams Jr., 86, passed away on Aug. 27, 2026, in Lebanon Valley Home in Annville, PA.
Ralph was born on Feb. 18, 1940, in Lebanon to Ralph D. Adams Sr. and Helen Adams nee Reigle. Ralph attended Northern Lebanon High School. Ralph worked at Bethlehem Steel in Lebanon and retired from Penn State Hershey Medical Center.
Ralph liked listening to country music with his wife at venues such as carnivals — where they often enjoyed “Andy” the Elvis impersonator — and attending sporting events. He enjoyed watching the Philadelphia Flyers, Phillies, Pittsburgh Steelers, Penn State football, and the Hershey Bears. Ralph will be best remembered as a man who loved spending time and playing a good game of pinochle with his family and friends and especially spoiling his grandchildren. Ralph was a member of the Rescue Social Club, the Perse and the Maennerchor.
He is survived by his brothers, Kenneth, Thomas, Dennis, and Edward, sisters, Mary Jane Henry and Joanne Hitz; children, Kim Zidik (Tony), Kevin Adams (Cathryn Smith), and Karen Cantrell (Todd Sr.); grandchildren, Ashley Wagner (Joe), Tyler Zidik, Shania Cantrell, Todd Cantrell Jr. (Emily), Maggie Cantrell, Adeena Delcarpio (Leo), Mitch Ericson, Serena Ditzler, Lindsey Schell (Joseph), and Chelsea Ditzler; and great-grandchildren, Luca, Emma, Levi, Elio, Kannon, River, Dwyer, Holston, Brenhm, and Leighton.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathryn L. (Kass) Adams nee Umberger; brothers, Robert, Ronald, Steven, and Bruce; and sisters, Faye Berry, Shirley Kreiser, and Lisa Adams.
A visitation hour for Mr. Ralph Adams will be held on Friday, Sept. 11, 2026, at 11 a.m., at Christman’s Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc. Graveside services will follow at the Hebron Moravian Cemetery.
