Virginia E. Jones, 84, of Lebanon, PA, passed into heaven on Friday, Aug. 28, 2026. She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Kenneth F. Jones.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, on Sept. 6, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Winfield and Elizabeth (Flounders) Liebert.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Donna L. Jones, of Lebanon, Barbara L. Smotherman, wife of Patrick, of Palmyra, Terrie E. Seiders, of Lebanon, Wendy E. Smith, wife of Garry, of Rehoboth Beach, DE, and David T. Jones, of Ono; brother, Stephen Liebert, husband of Joanne, of South Hampton; grandchildren, Christina, Blake, and wife, Samantha, Tyler, and wife, Krista, Emmitt, and wife, Erika, and Casey, and wife, Melissa; and great-grandchildren, Micah, Hannah, Maverick, Riley, Wyatt, Truett, Bowen, Tatum, and Makenna.
Affectionately known as Granny, she leaves behind a legacy of love for family and friends. She poured her heart into loving and caring for her husband, children, grandchildren, and precious great-grandchildren. A special and deeply loved wife, mother, and grandmother entered heaven this day and will be forever remembered and honored for her care, creativity, and sense of humor.
A celebration of life will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 12, 2026, at Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home and Crematory, 5 Campmeeting Road, Jonestown, PA 17038. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Association or Lebanon County Humane Society, in her memory. Kreamer Funeral Home, Annville, is handling arrangements.
