Frances M. Lutz, 86, of Hershey, passed away on Monday, Feb. 17, 2025, at the Mercy House in Chambersburg.
Born in Fredericksburg on Aug. 15, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Jerry L. and Lillie Grimes Swope.
She retired from the Commonwealth of PA after working for 27 years as a Tax Examiner. She was a graduate of the Northern Lebanon High School Class of 1956. Frances was a member of the St. John’s United Church of Christ, Fredericksburg.
She is survived by her son, Fred C. Lutz, of Hershey; sister, Nancy Rhen, wife of John Rhen, of Jonestown; and 10 nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Eugene Swope; and sisters, Arlene Deck, Anna Mae Swope, and Florence Gerhart.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be held at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Fredericksburg.
