Here are the most recent food safety violations in Lebanon County, as documented by Pennsylvania’s Department of Agriculture.

Inspections are taken as a “snapshot” of the day and time, and should not necessarily be taken as overall indicators of an establishment’s cleanliness. Violations are often corrected prior to the inspector leaving the site.

Reduced Oxygen Packaged (ROP), refrigerated foods observed not labeled with a “Keep Refrigerated” statement and a “Use By” date statement. The “Use By” date shall not exceed 30 days from the date of packaging or the original manufacturer’s sell-by-date of the food, whichever is first.

6 – 501.111 Controlling Pests
Apparent rodent droppings observed along the inside ledge of the electric panel cabinet, located in the prep kitchen.

4 – 501.114 Mechanical or Manual Warewashing Equipment, Chemical Sanitization
BAKERY Chlorine chemical sanitizer residual detected in the final sanitizer rinse cycle of the low temperature sanitizing dishwashers is 0 ppm, and not 50-100 ppm as required.

6 – 301.11 Handwashing Cleanser, Availability
Soap was not available at the handwash sink in the prep kitchen.

Observed unused equipment stored in the previous business area used for dry storage.

4 – 601.11(B-C) Equipment, Food-Contact Surfaces, Nonfood Contact Surfaces, and Utensils
Observed fryers & cooking equipment under hood canopy with grease and soil accumulation.

4 – 602.13 Nonfood-Contact Surfaces
Non-food contact surfaces (bun shelves, counters under hot holding units, wall area around dip tank) not cleaned at a frequency to preclude accumulation of dirt and soil.

4 – 601.11(B-C) Equipment, Food-Contact Surfaces, Nonfood Contact Surfaces, and Utensils
Freezer chest and reach in cooler not cleaned at a frequency to prevent the presence of dust and debris.

5 – 205.11 Using a Handwashing Sink-Operation and Maintenance
Old food residue observed in the hand wash sink in the deli area, indicating uses other than hand washing.
