The Starbucks store on Quentin Road is planned to open this winter, and employees are being hired now.

A Starbucks spokesperson confirmed the planned winter opening in an email to LebTown this week.

LebTown first broke news of the intended occupants at the new North Cornwall Township business complex in August. Starbucks will be joined at the building by MOD Pizza.

Starbucks intends to hire approximately 25 employees (or “partners” in Starbucks vernacular) at the 1501 Quentin Road store.

Job listings for the store are already posted to the company’s careers portal. Available positions at present include barista and shift supervisor.

This Starbucks will feature a drive-thru.

When LebTown visited this week, interior buildout was not yet completed, but the exterior finishings were virtually done. The MOD Pizza location is not quite as far along as Starbucks in its interior buildout.

MOD Pizza is targeting an early February 2020 opening, according to a company representative, but noted that the timeline may be accelerated based on construction progress. No information was available at press time on how many jobs are expected to be created at MOD.

MOD specializes in fast-fired made-to-order pizzas and got its start back in 2008. Just like their soon-to-be neighbor, Starbucks, the company got its start in Seattle.

Currently the nearest MOD location is at The Shoppes at Belmont along Fruitville Pike in Lancaster.

This will be Starbucks’ first foray into Lebanon County, aside from its kiosk in the Lawn Service Plaza on the Pennsylvania Turnpike.

This article was updated to include information on MOD Pizza’s intended opening date.
