Fort Indiantown Gap will host trainings this month that could result in increased noise levels for Lebanon County residents.
Helicopter door gunnery training will be held March 2 to March 5 between the hours of 10 a.m. and 11:30 p.m. and March 6 to March 7 between the hours of 7 a.m. and 11 p.m.
Artillery training will be held March 9 to March 12 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 11:59 p.m. and March 27 to March 29 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 10 p.m.
Fort Indiantown Gap is the only live-fire and maneuver military base in Pennsylvania. It is considered the nation’s largest National Guard training facility by number of mandays trained – close to one million annually.
