The awards and awards ceremony were designed to recognize employees who are exceptional in representing themselves, their employer in the hospitality industry, and Lebanon County in general.

Tourism is an economic driver in the county, with a total spending of $296.4 million in 2022 on lodging, retail, recreation, food and beverage, and other tourism-related activities, according to Pennsylvania’s Office of Tourism’s most recent Tourism Economic Report.

“We hope that through this initiative, we can elevate the message that hospitality is important to our county in so many ways,” said Visit Lebanon Valley president Jennifer Kuzo in a press release.

All nominees must be aware of their nomination and have worked for a Lebanon County business in the hospitality industry for a minimum of one year. Nominees cannot be associated with Visit Lebanon Valley.

A Visit Lebanon Valley committee composed of specialists and business owners in the region’s hospitality industry will review the nominations and select the winners.

The winners will receive $100 in cash, an award, and recognition during the awards ceremony on May 9, at the St. James Players Theatre in Lebanon Valley Mall. A breakfast will accompany the ceremony.
