Richard Allen White, 88, formerly of Cleona, died Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2020, in the Lebanon Valley Home in Annville. He was the husband of Nancy J. Heilman White, to whom he was married 63 years.
Born in Staten Island, NY on June 29, 1932, he was the son of the late Harry L. and Ella Stohler White. He was a C.P.A. working for Diana M. Reed and Associates, P.C., of Hershey, and Roger M. Knisley and Associates, of Annville. Dick was a 1950 graduate of Lebanon High School and Lebanon Business College. He was a member of St. Mark’s United Church of Christ, of Lebanon, where he was a member of the Hymn Singers, taught Sunday School, and served on the Consistory as President and Treasurer. He was also a member and Past President of the Annville-Cleona Kiwanis Club and served as President of the State and Local Division of the Traveler’s Protective Association.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, is a daughter, Heidi Anne Hartzell, of Glenside, two grandchildren, Jarrad and Brian W. Hartzell, four great-grandchildren Kevin, Paul, Emily, and Hannah, a brother, Harold E. White, of Myerstown, and a sister, Annamae, wife of Alvin Haak, of Kutztown.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles H. and Kenneth A. White, and a sister, Marion Reigle.
Services will be announced at a later date. Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, Annville is in charge of arrangements.
