Alisher Aminov, 18, and Zaelys DeArce, 19, of Lebanon, are running as independent candidates in the upcoming election. The teenagers are attempting to become the youngest council members in the history of Lebanon City.
Lebanon County is fast approaching Election Day without a director in place to oversee the county’s Bureau of Elections and Voter Registration.
Although eligible voters have until 4:30 p.m. on October 18 to register at the county’s voter registration office or until 11:59 p.m. to register online, elections officials encourage voters not to wait until the last minute.
