Bruce R. Blauch, 76, of Palmyra, passed away on Friday, Aug. 25, 2023, after a long brave battle. He was the husband of Andrea R. (DiEnno) Blauch, with whom he celebrated 53 years of marriage.

Bruce was born in Hershey on March 16, 1947, to the late John Clair and Alberta (Waseleski) Blauch.

He was a U.S. Army Signal Corps veteran and a graduate of Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Bruce retired as an engineer from Reese’s Candy Company.

His passion was sailing his boat, BrandyBay, throughout the Chesapeake Bay, traveling and adventuring around the world with Andrea. Bruce was a renaissance man and master of all trades, from electronics, woodworking, computers, mechanics, and repair.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, is his children, David J. Blauch (Tracy), of Boulder, CO, and Kristina J. Gibson (Bret), of Pittsburgh; grandchildren, Kyle, Kaityn, and Delaney; and siblings, Deborah (Blauch) Horney, Matthew Blauch, and James Blauch.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, Aug. 31, 2023, from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 618 E. Main St., Annville. www.kreamerfuneralhome.com. Interment will follow at 2 p.m. at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, with military honors.
