Has a buyer been identified for Inn 422? It seems that way, but there hasn’t been a sale finalized quite yet.
LebTown has verified that a liquor license transfer is in progress for the property.
The pending transfer would put the license into control of the Bijo Inn Corporation, which is based at 227 North 2nd Street in Harrisburg, the location of Miyako Sushi.
Bijo Inn Corporation’s sole incorporator is Caroline Lai, who also owns Mikyako, in addition to operating Wasabi in Hershey and Masa in York. All three brands are featured under the PA Sushi moniker.
“We are looking forward to serving the Lebanon County community and the people there,” said Lai this afternoon. “I don’t have a lot of comment right now because the property hasn’t been settled.”
“We are very excited to be a part of the community.”
The listing for Inn 422 has been handled by national firm TRUE Commercial Real Estate, which has offices locally. The property was listed at just under one million dollars (including the business and liquor license). The property was purchased in 1999 for $350,000. Until you see a sold sign in front of the building, it’s business as usual for Inn 422.
“We are still here, we are still operating as Inn 422,” said Crystal Aungst, owner of Inn 422 with husband, Scott.
Of the potential buyer, Crystal said she’s an amazing business woman and that she thinks she’ll do great things for Lebanon County, assuming the sale goes through. Reservations are still being taken for up to a month out. (Personally, we recommend the magic-puffed french toast.)
The Inn is currently open Wednesday through Sunday 8am to 2pm for brunch, as well as Friday and Saturday for dinner from 5pm to 9pm.

After 25 wonderful years in this historic building we have decided to list The Inn for sale. We will remain open, serving the same delicious food by our friendly staff, until a new owner is found. Scott and I thank you for 25 blessed years here at this location and 41 years overall serving the Lebanon County. It has been our pleasure and greatest joy being a part of this remarkable community. However after years of 80 plus hours in our work week we are looking forward to retirement. I am hoping to see you around the Inn in the near future and once more.
