We want feedback on how LebTown handles names in police blotters.
Some of you have asked us to reconsider our Right to be Forgotten policy, which currently states that the only circumstance where we will publish a name in a police blotter is if felony charges have been filed with the state.
We do this because the Internet may store or “cache” what we publish indefinitely, we place a high standard on the publication of names related to misdemeanor offenses.
We aren’t announcing any changes today, but we want to gather more feedback on what kind of blotter policy will best serve Lebanon County.
