On Saturday, June 8, the Lebanon PA Over 40 Facebook group will host a fundraising line dance and old-fashioned “stroll” to raise money for the Hilltop Playground and historic Krall Barn.

Not sure how to stroll? Have a look at this 1958 dance.

The throwback dance will begin at 5:00pm and run for approximately four hours at the playground at 801 North 6th Street. A $10 donation is requested for entry. Sirro’s Italian Ice will be on hand providing treats for the attendees. (Wertz Candies will not be there as originally planned due to a scheduling conflict.)

County Commissioner Jo Ellen Litz, who worked with Over 40 to organize the event, has also listed David Kaley as DJ, James Hartman as photographer, and Charlotte Stoudt as ticket handler.

Attendees are encouraged to wear 1950s-style clothing to keep the atmosphere authentic. For more information, check out the event Facebook page, or watch the full video from last year’s event.
