Cornwall Borough

Criminal Trespass – A 36 year old Manheim man was cited for an incident on Aug. 5, 2020 at 8:25 p.m. on H & K property off of Iron Valley Dr.

North Cornwall Township

Simple Assault, Theft By Unlawful Taking, Criminal Mischief – On Oct. 24, 2020 at 9:39 p.m., Paul Caudill, Jr., a 53 year old Lebanon resident, was charged with Simple Assault, Theft by Unlawful Taking, and Criminal Mischief after he entered the home of a male Victim, located on the 1,900 block of Walnut St., punched and kicked him in the face, causing abrasions, swelling, and pain. Caudill took the Victim’s bicycle and cell phone, threw the phone, causing the screen to crack, and fled the scene on the Victim’s bicycle. A warrant has been requested for Caudill.

Theft By Unlawful Taking – On Oct. 6, 2020 at 7:42 p.m., Antonio Ruiz, a 23 year old Lebanon resident, was charged with Theft by Unlawful Taking after he pulled his vehicle to the side of the roadway on the 400 block of Royal Rd., pulled up hemp plants, belonging to a male Victim, and left the scene.

Drug Possession – On Aug. 16, 2020 at 10:37 p.m., Charles Henderson, a 29 year old Lebanon resident, was charged with Intentional Possession of a Controlled Substance and Use/Possession of Drug Paraphernalia after North Cornwall Twp. officers were requested to assist PSP in serving an arrest warrant to Henderson. This incident occurred on the 1,600 block of Chestnut St.

Drug Possession – On July 5, 2020 at 11:23 a.m., police responded to a well-being check on a male driving a truck with a flat tire. Benjamin Strausser, a 43 year old Myerstown resident, was charged with Intentional Possession and Use of Drugs and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

North Londonderry Township

Retail Thefts – On Oct. 23, 2020 at 9:11 a.m., North Londonderry Twp. police cited both a 35 year old Lebanon woman and a 35 year old Lebanon man with summary Retail Thefts after Tabitha exited the Wal-Mart without paying for $126.77 worth of merchandise and Daniel exited the Wal-Mart without paying for $108.28 worth of merchandise.

Harassment – On Oct. 20, 2020 at various times, North Londonderry Twp. police cited a 33 year old Manheim woman with a summary Harassment after she continued to send text messages and call a male’s cell phone after being directed by police to not contact the male in any manner. The Victim was a 47 year old Annville man.

Vehicle Accident – On Oct. 24, 2020 at 10:10 p.m., the North Londonderry Twp. police department is currently investigating a motorcycle crash that occurred on Oct. 24, 2020 on the 500 block of Plaza Dr. in Palmyra. The driver of the motorcycle,a 32 year old Annville man, was transported to the Hershey Medical Center. The investigation is ongoing.

DUI, Driver’s Required To Be Licensed, Lighting Violation – On Oct. 25, 2020 at 5:18 a.m., Kayla Shirk, a 24 year old Palmyra resident, was arrested for suspicion of DUI after being stopped for a traffic violation on Old Forge Rd. and Cedar Ln. The following charges were filed with DJ Garver’s Office: DUI, Driver’s Required To Be Licensed, and Lighting Violation.

South Londonderry Township

Death Investigation – On Oct. 26, 2020 at approximately 5:00 a.m., South Londonderry police were called to the 2,900 block of Horseshoe Pike in Campbelltown for a death investigation. They were assisted by the Lebanon County Detective Bureau. No additional information will be released at this time.

West Cornwall Township

Harassment – A 32 year old Quentin man was cited for an incident at his residence on Oct. 9, 2020 at 6:17 p.m.

Vehicle Accident, Deer Struck – This accident occurred on Saturday, Oct. 24, 2020 at 6:30 p.m. in the vicinity of the 2,300 block of Quentin Rd. Operator 1, a 35 year old York man, was traveling south on SR 72 and collided with a deer. Operator 1 sustained no injuries as a result of this crash. Unit 1 sustained minor damage but was drivable. The deer was deceased.

Vehicle Accident – This accident occurred on Monday, Oct. 26, 2020 at 1:17 p.m. on Butler Rd. near Dogwood Ln. Operator 1, a 54 year old Mt. Gretna man, was traveling north and slid off the roadway into a drainage ditch. Operator 1 sustained no injuries as a result of this crash. Unit 1 was drivable after being pulled back onto the roadway.

Vehicle Accident – This accident occurred on Friday, Oct. 23, 2020 on SR 322, west of Colebrook Rd. Operator 1, a 27 year old Hershey man, was traveling west on SR 322 and ran off the right side of the roadway into a ditch. The vehicle rolled over but Operator 1 was able to extricate himself. Operator 1 sustained no injuries as a result of this crash. Unit 1 sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene.

Vehicle Accident – This accident occurred on Monday, Oct. 26, 2020 at 9:29 a.m. on SR 322 at Colebrook Rd. and Butler Rd. Operator 1, a 47 year old Millville man, was traveling west on SR 322, transporting a modular home when he was unable to stop for the red traffic signal. He collided with a propane truck driven by Operator 2, a 24 year old Hummelstown man, who was turning left from Colebrook Rd. to travel east on SR 322. Operator 1 and Operator 2 sustained no injuries as a result of this crash. The modular home sustained structural damage and was towed. The propane truck sustained front-end damage and was also towed. The intersection was closed for over an hour due to the accident.
