Inspections are taken as a “snapshot” of the day and time, and should not necessarily be taken as overall indicators of an establishment’s cleanliness. Violations are often corrected prior to the inspector leaving the site. Restaurants were found to be in compliance unless otherwise noted.

Observed clean food equipment and/or utensils in * area, stored wet in a manner that does not allow for draining and/or air drying (wet nesting).
5 – 202.12 Handwashing Sinks, Installation
The handwash sink located in the food prep area does not have water at a temperature of at least 100°F.
6 – 501.11 Repairing-Premises, Structures, Attachments & Fixtures-Methods
A small leak was observed from one of the lines from the evaporator in the walk-in cooler. Breakers are not labeled in one electrical panel. Same issue was observed in 2019.
5 – 501.111 Area, Enclosures and Receptacles, Good Repair
Outside waste handling unit was extremely dirty on the inside of the dumpster. This can become a breeding area for insects and rodents.
5 – 501.15 Outside Receptacles
Dumpster lids were not closed.
4 – 601.11(A) Equipment, Food Contact Surfaces, Nonfood Contact Surfaces and Utensils
A small container used for food container lids, a food contact surface, was observed to have food residue and was not clean to sight and touch. Cleaned immediately. The interior of the ice machine, a food contact surface was not clean and had a slime-like residue.

Exterior areas to the rear of the facility were extremely dirty and covered with grease residue.

This would include not following the approve HACCP plans for raw meats and separate plan for reduced oxygen packaging of seafood items.

Observed unclassified eggs not properly labeled from the small egg producer. Observed frozen ROP fish without proper label “ Keep Frozen, use within 4 days after thawing” statement. Prepackaged foods are not labeled to clearly indicate the ingredients and sub ingredients.
5 – 205.15 System Maintained in Good Repair
Cold water supply line to front prep area hand wash sink is turned off due to water leak at valve.

Egg salad and pasta salad were held at 57°F and 58°F, in the service area, rather than 41°F or below as required. Items were being held in a manner that the pans were not in contact with the ice, they were above the ice. Owner corrected.
