Sheetz will be opening its latest location in Lebanon County in the earlier part of 2024, according to a company spokesperson.
The 4,959-square-foot store will be located at 2150 W. Cumberland St. in North Cornwall Township.
Construction is expected to begin soon, as demolition work is now underway. Plans were approved earlier this year.

As part of the new gas station, which replaces a former First National Bank, Sheetz will design, construct and fund improvements for the intersection at Cumberland and 22nd streets. According to a PennDOT spokesperson, these improvements will include optimized traffic signal timings, emergency vehicle preemption capability, flashing yellow arrow operation, new reflectorized backplates, and countdown pedestrian signal heads & pushbuttons.
An exact timeline for the intersection improvements wasn’t available, however the improvements must be completed before the new store is opened. The intersection work is not expected to significantly impact traffic on Cumberland or 22nd streets, outside of potential intermittent lane closures.
