MVP helps organize a new Myerstown Farmer’s Market, projected to open on Saturday, June 1^st.

Myerstown area residents will not have to wait long to access fresh produce and homemade foods. A new Myerstown Farmer’s Market will open on Saturday, June 1^st, from 8 a.m. to noon at Myerstown Park, at Center Avenue and Route 501.

Following the opening date, the new venue will be open again with the same hours on the following Saturdays: June 22^nd, July 6^th and 20^th, August 3^rd and 17^th, and September 7^th and 21^st.

“The specific vendor contracts are being finalized, but the Farmer’s Market will focus on LOCAL,” said MVP President/CEO Denise Gouldey. “The Myerstown Vitality Partnership is proud to play a key role in bringing this wonderful new entity to Myerstown.”

“There’s nothing quite like the farm-to-table experience, and we are thrilled to have a place in Myerstown like this we can all enjoy,” adds MVP Board Chair Steve Goodhue.

The new Myerstown Farmer’s Market is an excellent example of a team effort. It is made possible with the cooperation of the Myerstown Borough Council, the MVP Board of Directors, and Brian Saul of Brian’s Model Trains.
