MVP helps organize a new Myerstown Farmer’s Market, projected to open on Saturday, June 1st.
Myerstown area residents will not have to wait long to access fresh produce and homemade foods. A new Myerstown Farmer’s Market will open on Saturday, June 1st, from 8 a.m. to noon at Myerstown Park, at Center Avenue and Route 501.
Following the opening date, the new venue will be open again with the same hours on the following Saturdays: June 22nd, July 6th and 20th, August 3rd and 17th, and September 7th and 21st.
“The specific vendor contracts are being finalized, but the Farmer’s Market will focus on LOCAL,” said MVP President/CEO Denise Gouldey. “The Myerstown Vitality Partnership is proud to play a key role in bringing this wonderful new entity to Myerstown.”
“There’s nothing quite like the farm-to-table experience, and we are thrilled to have a place in Myerstown like this we can all enjoy,” adds MVP Board Chair Steve Goodhue.
The new Myerstown Farmer’s Market is an excellent example of a team effort. It is made possible with the cooperation of the Myerstown Borough Council, the MVP Board of Directors, and Brian Saul of Brian’s Model Trains.
