Merlin L. Krall, 89, formerly of Jonestown, passed away on Wednesday, November 24, 2021, at Spang Crest Manor. He was the husband of Doris E. Swartz Krall. On June 18th they celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary.
Born in Lebanon on April 26, 1932, he was one of thirteen children born to the late George and Elsie Troxel Krall. Merlin had retired from the Lebanon Steel Foundry. For several years he was the owner/operator of Krall’s Used Cars in Jonestown. He enjoyed collecting and showing his Farmall tractors, going to auctions, and he was a die-hard Chevy man. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter Brenda E. wife of Barry Hartman, of Lebanon and Dana Krall, of Navarre, FL; grandchildren Hollie, Jamie, Nora and Trevor; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his son Timothy L. Krall.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at Grand View Memorial Park, N. Annville Twp. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Bunker Hill E.C. Church, 2208 SR 72, Lebanon, PA 17046.
