Robert W. Hubbard, 87, of Palmyra, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2024, at the M.S. Hershey Medical Center.

Born in Pitcairn, NY, on Oct. 1, 1936, he was the son of the late Arnold and Agnes (Guinup) Hubbard.

Robert was a veteran of the United States Army 111th Airborne Division. He obtained his associate in applied science and major in business administration from the State University of New York Agricultural and Technical College at Canton in 1965. Robert was an environmental, equipment, and security consultant and business owner. He enjoyed fine dining, cooking, socializing, dancing, singing, golfing, telling jokes, inventing, writing, poetry, music, photography, and nature. Robert was a Dale Carnegie graduate assistant, a member of the Harrisburg Area Riverboat Society, and an admiral on the Pride of the Susquehanna.

Surviving is his two children, Troy D. Hubbard, of Dillsburg, PA, and Sherri L. Hubbard, of Frederick, MD; and many nieces and nephews.

Robert was preceded in death by his brother, Earl Hubbard; and his sister, Marjorie Farr.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
