Rescheduled from last month, this Friday the Cleona Community Park (215 South Garfield Street) will host a showing of “Wonder”, along with an anti-bullying program before the movie.

Update: This event was cancelled due to rain.

Starting at 6:30pm concession stand will be selling hotdogs, walking tacos, soft pretzels, popcorn, candy, and drinks. Snack stand proceeds benefit the Cleona Park.

Anti-bullying expert Cy Emery will be presenting his Say No To Bullying message beginning at 8:00pm. Cy is based in Harrisburg and has shared his program across the region. Prior to the program kids will be able to contribute to a patchwork quilt for anti-bullying.

“Wonder” will be played at dusk. There will be a prize drawing prior to the showing.

Kids will also get to use the newly installed tube slide, there thanks to the hard work of the Cleona Borough manager and maintenance staff over a holiday weekend.
