Washington graduated from Lebanon High School in 2017 and is currently at Dodge City Community College in Dodge City, Kansas, a junior college program where he prepared academically and athletically while considering D1 programs. Standing 6’5″ and listed on Rivals.com as weighing 310 lbs, Washington plays offensive tackle, and will be working under UCF Offensive Line Coach Glen Elarbee (who he shouted out in his tweet).

Washington had received offers from a number of schools, including University of Kentucky, Louisiana Tech, University of North Texas, and the University of Massachusetts. He announced all of them on Twitter just as he did on October 24 when he received what would be his final offer from the University of Central Florida:

For more on Washington, check out Pat Huggins’ 2017 profile of Khalique just before he played in that year’s Big 33 game. According to Jeff Falk, Washington was the first Lebanon County athlete in the Big 33 game since Mark Pyles in 2014.

If you’d like to see him play, as someone on Facebook pointed out, UCF is set to play Template at the Linc sometime next fall (although the exact date and time have not been set).
