The 29th-annual Polar Bear Plunge will be held noon tomorrow at Wind in the Willows in northern Lebanon County.

The nerves-testing event raises money for Developmental & Disability Services (DDS) of Lebanon Valley, Inc. DDS is a 501(c)3 that empowers people with development disabilities to achieve more satisfying, productive, and independent lives.

Gates open at 10:00am. DJ Jim Payne will be providing the tunes starting at 10:30am and food will be available for purchase through Timeless Cafe. The plunge will take place at noon.

Tomorrow is forecast to be a mostly clear day, with temperatures expected to be about 50Âş around the time of the plunge.

A number of teams have already raised thousands of dollars in pledges, including Team USA, Bear Sponsors, Team McGinnis, and Team Diehm & Sons.

Spectators are welcome and there is no mandatory admission fee (although donations at the gate are encouraged). Premium parking is available for a $20 fee by calling 717-274-3493.
