City of Lebanon Police have apprehended two individuals in conjunction with this morning’s shooting at 1140 Church Street, according to a release. A third remains at large after evading arrest.
Police are holding Eric McGill, a 26 year old Lebanon resident, and Dominique Shumate, a 28 year old with no permanent, at LCCB where they are waiting arraignment.
Sean Sykes, a 28 year old Harrisburg man, has not yet been apprehended although a warrant has been issued for his arrest. Police distributed a 2017 photo of Sykes with the release (included above).
The three are being charged with four counts of Criminal Attempt to Commit Homicide, four counts of Conspiracy to Commit Homicide, 8 counts of Aggravated Assault, 8 counts of Conspiracy to Commit Aggravated Assault, 7 counts of Recklessly Endangering Another Person, 7 counts of Conspiracy to Commit Recklessly Endangering Another Person, and Possession of a Firearm Prohibited.
McGill and Shumate were arrested shortly after the incident, which occurred around 5am this morning.
Following audible gun shots in the area of 12th and Church Street, police observed a vehicle in the general area with not lights on and attempted to stop the vehicle. The driver fled the vehicle and discarded two handguns and magazines which were later recovered. The driver pulled into a parking lot at Willow and Jones Streets, where all three occupants exited the vehicle and a footchase ensued. Only Sykes was able to escape without apprehension.
The victims are all being treated at a local medical facility where they range from stable to critical condition. Names have not yet been released but the victims are a 36 year old Lebanon male, a 47 year old Palmyra male, a 48 year old North Cornwall Township woman, and a 64 year old Lebanon woman.
According to the release, more than 20 bullets of two calibers were fired during this incident.
