Here are the most recent food safety violations in Lebanon County, as documented by Pennsylvania’s Department of Agriculture.

Inspections are taken as a “snapshot” of the day and time, and should not necessarily be taken as overall indicators of an establishment’s cleanliness. Violations are often corrected prior to the inspector leaving the site. Restaurants were found to be in compliance unless otherwise noted.

The door handles on the reach-in cooler are broken and covered with tape which is not a durable, cleanable surface.

3 – 101.11 Safe, Unadulterated & Honestly Presented
A pepper in a tray of vegetables observed in the reach-in cooler was moldy. PIC discarded vegetables.

4 – 201.11 Equipment & Utensils-Durability & Strength
A single service Styrofoam cup and a bowl are being used in bulk dry ingredient containers instead of durable scoops with a handle.

4 – 602.13 Nonfood-Contact Surfaces
The frame and door track of the reach-in cooler, non-food contact surfaces, are not cleaned at a frequency to preclude accumulation of dirt and soil.

Shelves in the reach-in cooler are pitted and no longer cleanable.

A one-gallon plastic tank sprayer being used for sanitizer solution is not identified with a label.

Employee personal items, specifically nail clippers, were observed on a shelf directly above a food prep area in the kitchen, and not stored in dressing rooms or identified storage area as required.

Raw shell eggs are stored over cabbage in the walk-in refrigerator.

Egg rolls, potentially hazardous ready-to-eat food prepared in the food facility and held for more than 48 hours, located in the walk-in cooler, is not being date marked.

Single service plastic deli containers and tin cans are being used in dry ingredient storage bins instead of durable scoops with a handle.
