The Cornwall Iron Furnace chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolutions is hosting a free genealogy workshop in mid-March.

The workshop will be held at the Governor Dick Environmental Center on Saturday, March 16, at 11am. The workshop will be taught by DAR trained genealogist Wanda Taylor. The Governor Dick Environmental Center is located at 3283 Pinch Road in Mt. Gretna.

Topics will include census comparison, census codes, special census records, and strategies for census searching.

The DAR is a lineage based organization open to any women over 18 who provides documentation of a link to an ancestor who fought for American independence. Learn more about membership criteria here.
