The luncheon was held at Stone Ridge Poplar Run in Myerstown. This was the 10th annual Women’s Hall of Fame Luncheon & Awards Celebration. This year’s Hall of Fame Committee was co-chaired by Bev Heishman and Becky Witherite. Other committee members included Roberta Brummel, Loreen Burkett, Esq., Maria Dissinger, Kathy Kulbitsky, Jody Lazorcik, Commissioner Jo Ellen Litz, Heidi Neiswender, Ali Mailen Perrotto, Angie Shea, and Beth Wise.
It was also shared at the event that this year’s Glass Slipper Dress Sale saw more than 158 dresses sold to local high school students. Lebanon County Commission for Women Chair Ali Mailen Perrotto also announced that the organization was growing its diversity efforts with surveys in Spanish as well as a presence at the Latino Health Fair. Through Glass Slipper and the Hall of Fame luncheon, the Commission for Women raised over $10,000 last year.
Nominations for next year’s class of inductees will be accepted in the fall. See more information about the Hall of Fame here, and find this year’s class below.
