According to U.S. News & World Report, Palmyra Area Senior High School is among the top 100 high schools in Pennsylvania.

Palmyra came in at #72 out of the 688 Pennsylvania schools that were ranked.

The schools were assessed in a number of categories including college preparedness, underserved student performance, curriculum breadth, graduation rate, as well as proficiency and performance in math and reading.

Palmyra received a score of 88.26 stemming from factors such as a 90% graduation rate and a student body where 28% of students took at least one AP exam. 70% of those students then passed at least one AP exam.

The top-ranked Pennsylvania high school was Julia R. Masterman Secondary School in Philadelphia. Hershey High School in Derry Township ranked #14.
