The 7th annual Spinstock Flow Arts Festival will take place next month.
This year’s edition of the festival will take place June 15 at Coleman’s Park.
Last year’s festival took place across town at the South Sixth Street Playground.
One of Spinstock’s main draws will be hourly flow arts performances. For the uninitiated, “flow arts” is term used to describe the intersection of a variety of movement-based disciplines including dance, juggling, fire-spinning, and object manipulation, according to the Flow Arts Institute.
In addition to these performances, Spinstock will feature live DJs, food trucks, Super Bubbles, face painting, spin art, and a vendor marketplace that will support local artists and vendors. The event will start at 2pm and end at 8:30pm with a fire show finale.
