Medical marijuana will be making inroads in Lebanon County with the opening of Herbology later this summer.

The dispensary will occupy the ground floor of the historic Mann building at 815 Cumberland Street. It is currently slated to open in the beginning of July with exact timing dependent on construction and approvals.

Previously, this location was supposed to be occupied by Wellness Centers of PA, however multiple delays setback those initial plans. That dispensary license has since been taken over by the company Grassroots Cannabis, whose retail dispensary brand is known as Herbology.

Update May 28: Herbology’s PR team informed LebTown that they unintentionally misstated the company’s link to Lebanon Wellness Center. The Lebanon dispensary license has not been “taken over” as described in the original statement to LebTown, rather AES Compassionate Care dba Grassroots Cannabis entered into a management agreement with Lebanon Wellness Center, LLC for Grassroots Cannabis to operate the new retail storefront under its Herbology brand.

There are currently Herbology locations elsewhere in Pennsylvania in Altoona, Bradford, Dubois, Gettysburg, Morton, and Philadelphia. Additional locations will soon be opened in King of Prussia and Brookville.

Herbology looks to provide an approachable environment staffed by trained and certified “herbologists,” who will be assisting in educating the community through events, support groups and seminars.

The dispensary’s product offerings will include flower, vapes, extracts, oils, topicals, and concentrate.

Operators Grassroots Cannabis have facilities in Illinois, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Michigan, Nevada, Ohio, Oklahoma, Vermont, North Dakota, Arkansas and Connecticut.

You can learn more about Herbology by visiting their website.

Update 5/24: At the request of Herbology, we have as a matter of courtesy removed a picture that showed the interior of the dispensary while under construction.
