A 35 year old woman and a 22 year old woman both from Lebanon have been cited for Public Drunkenness on 6-16-19 at 0310 hours on the 00 block of N. Gannon Street.
A 24 year old Lebanon man has been cited for Public Drunkenness on 6-15-19 at 2045 hours Partridge and Willow Streets.
A 31 year old Lebanon man has been cited for Dogs Running At Large on 6-14-19 at 1600 hours on the 600 block of Union Street.
April Wilson a 38 year old Lebanon resident has been cited for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia on 6-18-19 at 0440 hours on the 200 block of N. 12th Street. She was also incarcerated at LCCF in lieu of an outstanding Lebanon County Bench Warrant.
A 24 year old Lebanon man has been cited for Disorderly Conduct (loud music) on 6-15-19 at 1655 hours on the 1000 block of Chestnut Street.
A 35 year old Lebanon man has been cited for Trespassing on 6-15-19 at 2108 hours on the 700 block of Guilford Street.
A 18 year old Lebanon man has been cited for Disorderly Conduct on 6-13-19 at 1755 hours on the 00 block of S. 8th Street.
A charge of Driving While Operating Privilege is Suspended or Revoked DUI related and Disorderly Conduct with a motor vehicle have been filed against a 39 year old Lebanon resident after a traffic stop on 5-27-19 at 2024 hours on the 700 block of E. Cherry Street.
Charges of Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana, Drivers Required to be Licensed and Duties at Stop Signs have been filed against a 28 Lebanon resident after a traffic stop on 6-03-19 at 2111 hours at Maple and N. Lincoln Avenue.
A charge of Receiving Stolen Property has been filed against Zebulon Pace a 40 year old South Lebanon resident after investigation into a theft which occurred on 4-20-19 at 1627 hours on the 700 block of Willow Street. Pace is accused of possessing and selling a stolen speaker valued at $200.00.
Jackson Township
This two vehicle crash occurred on June 18 at 9:20am as Unit #1, a 2018 Jeep Cherokee driven by a 74 year old Robesonia man, was leaving the Dutchway Store on SR 422, Jackson Twp, Lebanon Co. Unit #2, a 2002 Chevrolet 3500 driven by a 28 year old Richland man, was traveling west on SR 422, traveling straight. Operator #1 failed to stop at a steady red light at the intersection of Dutchway Dr. and SR 422. Operator #2, traveling west, was unable to avoid collision. Initial impact occurred as the front end of Unit #1 struck a utility trailer being pulled by Unit #2. The impact caused the trailer to become detached from Unit #2. Unit #2’s trailer rolled, causing a piece of construction equipment and other debris to fall off. A piece of debris struck a parked vehicle parked near the south shoulder of SR 422. Unit #2’s trailer came to final rest against a truck parked near the south shoulder of SR 422, causing damage to the truck. Unit #2 rolled onto its roof and slid into a grass area off the north shoulder of SR 422. Unit #1 spun and came to final rest in the intersection of Dutchway Dr. and SR 422. All units were towed by CJ Wagner’s. operator #1 was extricated by mechanical means and taken to Reading Hospital by ambulance with suspected minor injuries. Myerstown Fire, Myerstown EMS, First Aid & Safety Patrol, and Lebanon County Special Operations assisted at the scene. Operator 1 was charged with Traffic Control Signals.
Troopers of PSP Jonestown responded to the 500 block of E. Main Street for a report of endangering the welfare of children. Upon arrival on scene, the accused was located and determined to be under the influence of methamphetamines. Further investigation revealed the accused, Tyler Bender, a 31 year old Myerstown man, had been using illicit drugs for multiple days, while in custody and supposed to be providing care of five children, the oldest being 7 years old, the youngest 8 months. The children were located unattended at the residence by family members and taken out of the residence. The accused was subsequently taken into custody and charges of endangering welfare of children were prepared.
South Londonderry Township
On May 15, 2019 at approximately 1900 hrs, 4 female juveniles damaged the South Londonderry Township Volleyball Net at the Playground. Anyone with information is requested to contact the South Londonderry Township Police Department at 717-838-1376.
Swatara Township
This crash occurred June 18 at 9:03am on I-81 N at mile post 93.4, Swatara Township, Lebanon Co. Unit 1, a 2017 Freightliner Cascadia Evolution, was traveling north in the right lane. Unit 1 lost control, crossed both lanes and struck the left guard rail with its front end. After initial impact with the guard rail, Unit 1 rolled completely over and came to final rest upright on its wheels. Moderate damage observed to the guiderail. Disabling damage observed to Unit 1’s front end, passenger side, and roof. No reported injury. Operator 1 charged for driving vehicle at safe speed. Perseverance Fire Co. assisted at the scene.
On June 15 at 1:09am at SR 72 and Horst Drive, troopers of PSP Jonestown conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that was swerving and almost struck a fixed object on the roadside. Further investigation revealed the driver, Megan Schollenberger of Cleona, to be driving under the influence of alcohol. Charges were prepared and filed with MDJ 52-3-03.
This crash occurred June 18 at 4:30am as Unit 1, a 2014 Subaru Crosstrek driven by a 33 year old Palmyra woman, was traveling east on SR 22 in between Airport Rd and School Dr in Swatara Township, Lebanon County. Unit 1 was traveling at unknown speed when Operator 1 lost control of the vehicle. Unit 1 began to slide on the wet roadway when it crossed from the right-hand travel lane and struck the embankment on the south shoulder. Unit 1 continued to travel east after initial impact and overturned while traveling along the embankment. Unit 1 came to final rest on its passenger side facing west/north-west in the right lane of SR 22. Opeartor 1 was wearing her seatbelt at the time of impact and reported no injuries as a result of this crash. Operator 1 was transported to Hershey Medical Center for an evaluation. Unit 1 was towed from the scene by Dale Richards Towing. Assisted on scene by Fredericksburg Fire Department, First Aid and Safety Patrol, and Dale Richards Towing. The woman was charged with driving vehicle at safe speed.
West Cornwall Township
Accident โ Occurred Monday, 10:17 PM, on SR 117 at Old Mine Road.ย A 43, year old Manheim woman was traveling east on SR 117, lost control of her vehicle while negotiating a curve and crossed the roadway striking an embankment.ย Vehicle rolled over and came to rest upright.ย She was examined at the scene by EMS Personnel. Vehicle was towed.
Marijuana โ A 22 year old Steelton man has been charged with possession of marijuana for an incident May 16th, 9:06 PM, at 75 W, Main St., Quentin.
