LebTown photographer Ashley Walters was at the Lebanon Area Fair Thursday evening to capture some of the evening’s contests well as the much-talked about debut of goat yoga.

Pie Eating Contest

Our first stop of the night was the pie eating contest, where first up was the kids competition.

Following the kids competition, the adults (those ages 15 and up) had their turn. Those are cherry pies, in case you were wondering. While the pie contest was ongoing, the Seltzer’s Bologna Co Bologna Toss was occurring nearby.

Goat Yoga

The highlight of the evening was goat yoga, which made its Lebanon Area Fair debut this year. Attendees were able to strike their lotus pose alongside some Nigerian dwarf goats from Original Goat Yoga at Healing Acres Farm, a last minute change (thanks to the Lebanon Area Fair for correcting us on this). The class was taught by local yoga instructor Melanie Wells.

State Rep. Russ Diamond (R-102) participated in the event, too, and shared the experience on his Facebook page today.

Bologna Toss

Remember that bologna toss we mentioned? How far could you chuck a chub of Lebanon bologna?
