City of Lebanon

A 62 year old Lebanon woman has been cited for Public Drunkenness on 8-30-19 at 0005 hours on the 800 block of Spring Street.

Charges of Driving Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance and Careless Driving have been filed against Dustyn Crist a 27 year old Myerstown resident after Crist was allegedly passed out in the driverโ€™s seat of his vehicle. This incident occurred on 7-27-19 at 1222 hours on the 400 block of N. 8th Street. Police allege Cristโ€™s blood contained THC (Marijuana), Benzoylecgonine a metabolite of Cocaine and Fentanyl at the time of the incident.

A charge of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia has been filed against Devin Klaburner a 20 year old Lebanon resident after contact with Lebanon County Probation Officers on 8-27-19 at 1240 hours on the 800 block of Cumberland Street.

Angel Afanador a 23 year old with no permanent address has been charged with Burglary, Possession of Instruments of Crime, Terroristic Threats, Simple Assault (domestic violence related) and Resisting Arrest after an incident on 8-28-19 at 1533 hours on the 400 block of East Weidman Street. Police allege Afanador broke into the victimโ€™s garage and took a tool kit that belonged to the victim. After breaking into the garage he is alleged to have threatened to harm the victim and possessed a knife at the time of the threats. The 29 year old victim was not injured during this incident. Police located Afanador in the area of the victimโ€™s home; he fled from police on a bicycle only to be apprehended after a short distance. Police allege he resisted efforts of the police when taking him into custody. He was transported to LCCB and arraigned before MDJ Anthony Verna. He was incarcerated at LCCF in lieu of $75,000 bail.

North Londonderry Township

North Londonderry Township Police Department filed charges against a 39 year old Middletown woman for her involvement in an incident which took place at Wal-Mart on August 19 at 3:33pm. The woman concealed items inside of a tote and failed to pay for the items as she left Wal-Mart. A total of 36 items were taken valued at $508.69. She was charged with one count of retail theft.

Swatara Township

This crash occurred September 1 at 1:13am on Lickdale Road approximately .20 miles north of its intersection with Werners Rd, Swatara Township, Lebanon County. This crash occurred as Unit 1 was traveling north on Lickdale Road at a high rate of speed when it lost control and slid off the roadway. As unit 1 slid off the roadway, it impacted an embankment on the west side of the road then struck a utility pole, shearing it off at the base. Unit 1 came to final rest on the west side of the roadway facing east. Upon arrival, the occupants of the vehicle had fled the scene of the crash. Unit 1 suffered major damage to its driver side doors and windows. Unit 1 was towed by Joe May’s Towing. The following day, Operator 1 admitted to operating the vehicle at the time of the crash and leaving the scene. Operator 1 was cited with numerous summary violations.
