News broke yesterday that Kmart would be closing another round of stores, including the one located in North Cornwall Township, Lebanon County.

The closure, being officially carried out by the holding company which owns the remaining assets of Sears & Kmart, was announced by the firm on Thursday, Nov. 7. See the full release and list of closing stores here (PDF).

The firm also announced that going out of business sales will begin Dec. 2.

As part of this announcement, the building where Kmart currently operates has been put up for sale. Previously, LebTown had reported that the 1745 Quentin Road megastore was available for lease.

That same listing on Loopnet has since been modified to reflect that the property is now for sale, as opposed to just lease. That update appears to have been made Wednesday of this week. The price is “available on request.” LebTown has reached out to the listing agents and will update this post if we hear back.

The 117,200 SF space sits on a 15.35 acre lot, with plenty of parking available.

For now, Kmart is open Sunday through Monday from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Fridays and Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
