A Lebanon man was incarcerated at the Lebanon County Correctional Facility this week following charges by Lebanon City Police over the alleged sexual assault of a local teenager.

Mark Andrews, a 29-year-old Lebanon resident, was arraigned Monday in front of Magisterial District Judge Kim R. Wolfe over charges of Indecent Sexual Assault of a Person Less than 16 (a first-degree felony) and Indecent Assault of a Person Less than 16 (a second-degree misdemeanor), as well as second and third-degree felony charges for the dissemination of video depicting the assault in question.

In a release, Lebanon City Police said that the incident occurred this past August in Lebanon. According to police allegations, Andrews assaulted a 14-year-old female after he picked her up and smoked marijuana with her. Andrews was said to have videotaped the female performing a sexual act, a video which he was said to have proceeded to disseminate.

According to the Lebanon Daily News, which reviewed the criminal complaint, the video was discovered on a student’s phone at Lebanon High School in late August, with the victim telling police that she met Andrews on social media.

Andrews was unable to post bail, set at $25,000.

His next scheduled court appearance is a preliminary hearing in front of Magisterial District Judge Maria Dissinger on Dec. 19 at 8:00 a.m.
