Turkey Hill announced that its 102 S. 8th Street store in the City of Lebanon has been closed for cleaning after a team member informed the company that they had been diagnosed with COVID-19.
According to the release, after the company received information regarding the positive test, management moved to have the store closed at 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, and plans to have an industrial cleaning crew sanitize the location prior to reopening. The store is typically open until midnight.
It was not clear from the release how much time lapsed between the company being notified and the store closure, but we have followed up on this point and will update the article if we learn more.
“All team members that work at the store have been contacted and advised to follow CDC-recommended guidelines,” said a Turkey Hill spokesperson in the statement. “We are making every effort to provide the affected team member and our broader team with the necessary resources and support.”
The store is expected to reopen in the next few days.
