A 37-year-old Jonestown man was arrested by Pennsylvania State Police on Wednesday for sexually assaulting a 14-year-old female who had been staying in his residence with him for nearly two months this past winter.

Kristoffer Hexter was charged with statutory sexual assault, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a person under 16 years of age, aggravated indecent assault, corruption of minors, possession of child pornography, unlawful contact with a minor, and indecent assault.

These charges involve a series of incidents alleged to have occurred between Nov. 4, 2019 and Jan. 26, 2020.

Hexter was taken into custody by state police and arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Kim R. Wolfe on Wednesday evening. He is currently being held at Lebanon county Correctional Facility, having been unable to post bail set at $10,000.

If convicted of all of the charges against him, Hexter could receive a maximum sentence of 94 years in state prison.

A preliminary hearing in front of MDJ Wolfe is scheduled for 8 a.m. on May 21.
