Two suspects have been detained following an incident Thursday morning in North Cornwall Township.

Details are limited at this point, but North Cornwall Township Police Chief John Leahy confirmed the event in a phone conversation with LebTown.

According to Leahy, the situation unfolded when the North Cornwall Township Police Department responded to 970 York Street shortly after 11 a.m. Thursday morning for a call regarding a fight between a tenant and landlord. Upon arrival to the scene, police received fire and two suspects fled, Leahy said. No officers were said to be injured and the landlord was not one of the suspects.

Many units from multiple county police agencies responded to the all call. The suspects were later located elsewhere in Lebanon and taken into police custody, Leahy said.

In addition to a large police presence, multiple fire police companies helped control the scene following the event, including South Lebanon Township Fire Police 48, North Cornwall Township Fire Police 14, Mount Gretna Fire Police 38, Waterworks Fire Police 7, Newmanstown Fire Police 34, Annville-Cleona Fire Police 58, and Campbelltown Fire Police 2.

This is a developing story and our article will be updated as we learn more.
